@canureadthissir it just never happened. I was 15 when we met. I went to his state on vacation 4 times but we were still pretty far apart. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Ive been with my current boyfriend for 5 years and we live together so that's where my life is heading now. We still talk on occasion though.

The very first song had on my I-pod when I left Leith for the first time in my life, for the Isle Of Man, think I had it own repeat for the next hour, thinking of leaving behind my very own 'Boston Beauty'.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful Irish ballad ever composed, personally speaking! I think all of us can relate to it, I think we all have that special person in lives, our Boston Beauty!

A lovely song. Takes me right back to previous Rose Festivals. Reminds me of past times and a girlfriend I knew in 1971 called Joan from Tralee. I was 16 years old. We went to the dances at the `Brandon Hotel`. Glad to see that the `Rose of Tralee` Festival is still going strong. Well done to the New York Rose for winning 2007.
