  • WTF IS THIS BITCH SAYING, YOU FUCKING DELUSIONAL BITCH THEY OBVIOUSLY CHARGED HER WITH MURDER BECAUSE SHE WAS GUILTY. SHE CONDEMNED AN INNOCENT MAN, SHE LIED 1000 TIMES; SHES OBVIOUSLY GUILTY. I FUCKING HATE THESE AMERICANS;; I SWEAR JUST OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE THE TRUTH. THEYRE MAKING ITALIAN LAW LOOK LIKE SHIT PURLLLEASEEEEE BITCH LOOK AT YOUR OWN LAW SYSTEM!

  • is she sayin that blacks arent cute?

  • Media whores and useful idiots.

  • Amanda and Raffaele are guilty. Please read the Massai and Micheli reports.

  • She murdered Meredith. That's all. She's guilty and she must payes her murder. She deserves that.

  • I am so sick of people saying it's all because of her looks. Ok maybe she good looking this has nothing to do with it, this is a INNOCENT young girl that has her whole life ahead of her. This is about her and her FREEDOM that she dersrves she has NOT donde anything wrong. people need stand up for this injustice because this could of been one of your loved ones. Amanda was mentally and physically abused by the police she was terrified

  • @arianariadne Bleach glows blue when Luminol is applied. This did not happen so the crime scene was not cleaned and no evidence was produced in court that proves the crime scene was cleaned. The prosecution said " we SUSPECT the crime scene was cleaned" because the knew it wasn't.

  • Prosecutor Mignini, who prosecuted Amanda Knox & Raffaele Sollecito, was indicted in the summer of 2006, charged with abuse of power in April 2008, convicted for abuse of power in January 2010 (sentenced to 16 months in prison) and who's charges against 20 innocent people were dropped in April 2010, due to lack of evidence (falsely accused). Meredith Kercher was Murdered Nov 1, 2007.

  • I won't argue about the merits of the case, her innocence or guilt, but... all that aside, she's pretty darn hot, isn't she? I mean, seriously, even her ears look cute and that pony tail makes her look so sexy.

  • @ascubaguy I have an idea... I'll keep her locked up in a room at my house. How's that? Can I watch her shower?

  • Wow, Judy Bachrach really knows nothing. I wonder how, given time to reflect, she feels about humiliating herself with her patent lack of knowledge of the Italian legal system on national TV.

  • Knox bleached the crime scene and the whole house leaving only traces of Guede - even though she had lived in that house for 4 months, only ONE fingerprint belonging to Amanda was found by the police after the bleaching.

The sloppy girl (the victim had complained about Amanda's poor hygiene) all of a sudden decided to clean the whole house!

It would be funny if it weren't so tragic!

  • @bertinotti

What do you actually know about the case?

    Guede ran away...

Amanda accused Lumumba from the beginning - she never accused Guede.

It was only during Guede's trial that the police produced the evidence of the bleaching.

Only at the end of his own trial, Guede began to chage his origial story and said he saw Amanda and maybe Sollecito at the crime scene.

It's just a matter of time - when convicted for a second time, Guede will tell the whole truth...

  • Amanda Knox has much bigger problems than DNA evidence. What about her numerous lies about her stay during the night and days before and after the murdere or what about the accusations from the convicted african guy. CNN is drawing a rediculous picture of the italian media and jurisdcial landcsape. "...Italy hates Amanda..."

If anything I would say most of Italy does not even know or care about Amanda Knox with exception of some news junkies whose US counterparts look CNN. Cheers

  • I actually believe her when saying she was forced to her first confession. In a murder case like this ANY police will go over the line violating civil rights for a few days/weeks just to prevent a 'possible' murderer from leaving the country. Americans call this collateral damage. See what they did to the African bar keeper now suing the police.

What they will not do is fitting together a convenient story to convict someone based on public pressure. That's the picture being drawn by US media.

  • The "Redhead" says that Amanda Knox was convicted based on the DNA evidence. How does she know? The reasons and details for her conviction will be published in approx. 30 days from today. The Italian media is reporting that the jury had an unanimous decision based on more than 40 pieces of evidence and more than 100 witnesses. The disagreement was only about the height of the sentence not about it's justification. The DNA evidence may not even be part for the sentencing if deemed too weak.

  • @sirjohn

you don't know much about Italy...

All information about judicial processes are public. Read the Micheli's report - the justification given for indicting Knox and Solletico (who is a wealthy Italian, remember?)

It was published by the Court of Justice for all Italian citizens to read. It's actually posted on the Internet.

  • Soon Rudy Guede will tell the whole story - when he finally loses hope of being set free and realises that he was set up by foxy.

It's just a matter of time!

  • Judy Bachrach is certifiably insane or retarded. She says that when the PROSECUTOR heard that Amanda Knox would be held in jail pending trial he hugged a member of the victim's (Kercher) family. This -- she thunders -- proves there was no objectivity in this case!

The PROSECUTOR isn't supposed to be objective. He's arguing one side of the case - the prosecution. He's trying to convict the defendant.

Yet this ridiculous statement by PMS Bachrach goes unchallenged. Amazing.

  • Judy Bacharach said:

    1) "Italian judicial system is corrupt and came down from the ancient inquisition".

Now, the only corrupted judge in Italy was paid by Berlusconi some years ago. I never heard of a corrupt judge in Italy.

  • Second: in Italy is so hard to end up in jail that every Italian complains that criminals are being constantly released. In jails you only have murderers and drug dealers, and if they give you life in prison you're out in 10 years.

Third: the penal code and criminal procedure code was elaborated in the thirties by the greatest jurists in Italy. The law is so completely pro-defendant.

  • 2) "In Italy you are guilty if you are accused".

In Italy, like in any other civilized country, you are innocent until proven guilty after 3 levels of judgement (first instance, appeal and Cassazione).

  • 3) "It is very unlikely that appeal will overturn he lower court".

The opposite is true. Almost every guilty verdicts bases on circumstancial evidence are overturned.

This woman is so unbelievably pathetic. She doesn't do any good for Amanda's cause (which, by the way, I thought she should have been acquitted, on the basis of the evidences presented).

  • I cannot believe what this Judy Bacharach just said !!! She was able to say so many stupidities in such a short time.

  • Moreover, had this been an African-American male in the US he would not unlikely have been sent to the death row without further due, and yet everyone in the US media is suggesting that the Italian system is backwards and unfair by design. Utterly disgusting.

  • I find it disgusting that everyone invited to these American talkshows are pro-defense/pro-Amanda. Not a single voice to represent the contrary opinion...

Personally, I find the alternative version implausible - that Guede smashed a window, climbed in without a cut, raped and killed Meredith, returned the next day in order to clean up last nights mess, again climbing in without a cut, making sure to clean up Amandas footprint (who had been there in between) but forgot to flush his own feces...

  • Yeah, that is what is wrong with it. The lawyer hugging the prosecutor.

    *roll eyes*

    Shut your piehole, bachrach!

  • Now if Romell Broom was a young, white, good looking Student learning abroad, would so many people also just blindly call him innocent and unfairly trialed?

  • This Lisa Bloom woman says some smart things. I caught my self thinking, that judged on her looks, I wouldnt have thought so... then again judging Amanda Knox by her looks, doesnt make you think she is a murderer either.

I really dont understand why many US citizens are so outraged about the Italian judical System. Today in Ohio they are trying out a new execution method on prisonor Romell Broom, after the first execution attempt has painfully failed. To this day R.B. maintains his Innocence.

  • That Judy Bachrach is an effin snotty beyotch!

  • What I don't get is that some people on AC 360 said she had a good chance of getting acquitted with an appeal, but then that lady at the end said it was "very unlikely"?

    So which one is it?

  • *I mean the lady at 3:22

  • @killedbyAP

Unlike what this dumb Vanity editor said, Italian appelate courts most of the time reverse gulty verdicts or reduce the sentence. Amanda will certainly be acquitted on appeal.

  • thanks for the clarification.

  • amanda knox is guilty and it is untrue that there is no motive or evidence

amanda knox is a horrible liar changing her story many many times the murder weapon was in her apartment with DNA from her and the person she raped and murdered

i dont care about her family- only about the victims family and amandas dad to say that the victim would think this injustice if she could talk is the biggest line of BS

amanda knox was a naked orgie ho taking it from many men anywhich way she could
