Im a lvl 20 warlock and im doing crappy damage im destro and i crit 199, while a mage at lvl 20 does 220 damage as normal and crit like 400. what should i specc? cuz im doing no damage at all it sucks.
I'm going destro for PvE, but have a question, what's the best choice to lock PvP? i'm using destro but the only instant cast it's conflagrate,and always dispell my immolate-.-' so it's a little hard with silence and something like that...

@MaanaWoW i stick to affliction for my main pvp spec. just recently picked pvp up on my lock. and i go destro for burst damage in raid and heroics. i like demo, dont get me wrong, but i went destro to prove a point. most ppl are like, oh your destro? ur gna suck, because demo is so strong. yes, it is, considering the sp buff, and mass aoe damage you pull, and the lovely metamorphasis cd, but destro can be just as strong in some cases. so yeah, Aff/Destro for my specs. great vid, keep em comin

why do peple still go demo or destro? the ISF nerf was a class wide nerf...aff lost 15% haste which sums up to 1 dor tick per application..as well as demo and destro. Destro is currently topping the charts from what i see
@ummmj - Destro is currently looking like the best spec - but the differences between the three are minor. It's close enough between the three for personal preference to be just fine. Demo still provides an important raid buff and Afflictions Dark Intent target benefits much more than from Demo or Destro - making the differences between Destro and Affliction quite small in the grand scheme of things.
My main is Demonology off affliction but I really see good changes however the switching pets during the executions fights are really interesting... like for example 100 to 25% I use succy + lash of pain is a huge dps increase for sigle target then when the boss hits 25% I soulburn+ felhunter and use demon soul and I got really good result like 21K in BH same with demo I only use felguard for aoe and then back to succy XD
@sangrealnotreal - Right now there's no clear dps choice. It's possible that we may be using it for some cute moves like instant summoning the felhunter during sub-25% bloodlust/heroism for demon soul....but it seems like it won't be worth the loss in damage from the succubus.
I'll cover it in more detail in a post 4.0.6 affliction video.

Our best stat is still without a doubt Intellect. We should always be reforging to hit if we're not hitcapped - and if we're hitcapped we should then be reforging to haste...this applies to almost every spec at almost all gear levels. There are some specs that benefit more from mastery at certain gear levels - but I'll cover that in detail in a video.
Took 2 points out of aftermath (formerly improved soulfire) and put it into improved immolate.
Also took my 2 points out of demonic rebirth and put them into demonic aegis (which i believe is MUCH better now with the life gain).
I'm sure gonna miss my 15% haste bonus, but i stacked haste in my gear anyways. I think stacking SOME mastery for demo is quite viable now, as demon form now does CRAZY damage to single targets. So i dunno. Will see how it all turns out.
Staying Demonology, with offspec demonology... cause the flashing talent icon annoyed me.
Oh, on small tiny oversight. You didn't cover what was changed about Imp Soul Fire besides it getting moved to Tier 3 in the Destruction tree. Its now a 4/8% damage buff, with no icd on the effect.
From the patch notes (and lawls at the You your) - "You your Fire and Shadow damage done by 8% for 15 sec after you deal damage with Soul Fire."
I still say Demo aoe are beast. In well of eternity i hit 120k on the last boss.

Staying Demonology, basicly for the raid benefits. We have mostly range caster dps, that benefits more from demonology than affliction.
