I love this hire. The fact is walsh said he wanted the team to be competitive and exciting next year and hiring D'Antoni is perfect for that. The knicks aren't going to win with this roster anyway. Obviously there will be lots of changes. As a diehard lifelong knicks fan, I believe its a good start. D'Antoni will learn to adjust with this team which includes defense.

Just have confidence people and give it a chance. I know its hard believe me.

D'Antoni's offense succeeded during the regular season in Phoenix, and was certain to put butts in seats, but ultimately failed in the post-season, because his teams were so soft defensively.

Also, the Knicks have been a wreck since Zeke became the team president, so you probably won't be seeing results positive immediately, unless the team starts majorly overhauling the roster and rebuilding from scratch (which could include trading Stephon Marbury).

A lot of changes and thankfully the FA market is great this year a la Jermaine O'Neal and Ron Artest. We have always tried to get JO and Artest himslef said he wanted to play in NY and could change the team around. Artest can play any system and O'Neal is in good shape 2 run not like Curry.

Then we trade Curry an offensive c and q. rich inconsistent to memphis for mike miller who would be a great fit can score, rb,defend.
