son it depends what kind of addon you use i dont like fsx but if you put gex fex or utx on your fsx will totally change

very nice work!....i really like the views and clouds that give a nice feeling of solidity.

I presume they chose sprite clouds to keep the FPS high?, it would be nice to see real particle clouds in the future?...something like the weather system GT4 uses, which i think looks and feels incredible!

The cloud sprites look "strangely" similar to the ones I use for my flight sim (have a vid of it, if anyone's interested). I wonder if they took them from the same place as me. :P

Sprites? These appear to be real volumetric clouds.

Volumetric in a sense that you can fly through them and the screen whitens, yes, but still build up of sprites. Like FSX the sprites rotate around the viewpoint. But i have to admit, this looks better than FSX or everything else in flightsim world. Very realistic, especially the ground from above and the haze in the distance.

What plane is that? Why is the top wing so low? It cuts off half the the pilots view through the windshield. Is that how it really was in that plane?

Actually, the wing is exactly at that spot so you have the best field of view. If it would have been higher, it would block out much more of your view.

This aircraft has excellent visibility from the cockpit compared to most WW1 biplanes....
