Toothsome SWTOR Beta PvP Scoundrel/Scrapper

I chose Scoundrel after deciding I may want to heal at endgame, and so didnt want to be suck as purely dps. However, Im finding Scoundrel really odd to play. Although im only 13 at the minute since I rerolled after a BH, I have few skills so far. Running in with a pistol against lightsabers just seems weird to me.. although, kicking them in the nads then a boomstick to the back is very fun, and finishing them with a Blaster Whip just looks hilarious.

No offense to you, but I think I would play this class somewhat.... Smarter. You need to take advantage of your Disappearing act, along with all of your stuns. Dont get me wrong, you used your stuns alot, but dont just use them for free damage, use them to get behind the player and use you Back Blast, or to break a powerful channel or Intro. Thats just what ide do. :D From one Smuggler to another.

@DizneyProductions i can see were ur getting at, but remember this was beta, so i still had alot to learn, now that im almost 50 in launch, i got alot better and stuff, so ill be making more videos... as for using my stuns for free dmg, i would never do that, i only used them for inturrupts if i had them, or to get behind my target, but beta was abit hectic at times, so sometimes this was impossibe, as you can see in the first clip with the lap issue...

@DizneyProductions my biggest problem actually in this video actually was, i was reallly stingy on my cooldowns barley used them.. tried 2 save them for ohh crap moments that never happend, iv learned my lesson on that now...

i think kicking a sith in the juevos then finishing him off with a boomstick to the back is what sold me.

How many keybinds are we looking at, like on average how many lockdowns/damaging abilities do you use in your rotation?

@Kaedrus at only lvl 22 i was looking at about 10 dmg and lockdown abilities, 4defensive cooldown/energy regen skills

and 1 cleanse/cure 2heals, and i used it all for different scenarios, so think about when we hit 50, we will have even moar, thus why i got a naga mouse lol, this game is nuts.

@SuperToothsome Thats interesting, I was thinking the same thing myself about buying a a naga, i have a belkin gamepad but its limited to 19 keybinds tops which 3 of them I normally make movement keys. Thanks for the info.

Would you say that scrapper has one of the highest skill ceillings? How are their lockdown capabilities?

@hitnrunner303 yes the scapper not only takes alot of skill to play, but you have to be energy effiencent and in group battles that can be tough, let alone 1v1s, as for lockdowns it has loads, and I MEAN loads, just if u let an enemy get more ten 15m ahead of you ur goes to have trouble catching back up, unless he is a bad kiter, since we got no sprints.. so be aware of that, the class takes quick reaction time, and alot of awareness, and u have everytool to keep ur enemy close to you and locked

@jimbazfog what a silly post, it's simple dude, put the music down and listen to ur own stuff, I choice the music I enjoy, i will never appeal to everyone, cuz everyone has different taste... I find i choose great music for pvp vids, and they go well with my videos.

@zeboogieburitto its an offhand, so u must have it as a weap... but im pretty sure i used the backblast skill without it at low lvls lawl..

Hey man Im gonna roll scoundrel-scrapper, I got a question for you: Do you think classes that deal dps at mid range will be better than classes dealing dps at long range, for example both vanguard and scoundrel are mid ranged fighters and in a 1v1 battle against long ranged for example the commando and gunslinger, they would have the highest chance to win, so do u think mid ranged classes will be the best pvpers?

@FreedomFighter08 depends if they catch me offgaurd and get a few hits on me before i notice them, but if they don't they don't have a chance at all..

the class i had the most difficulty with tho was bountyhunter cuz of there shields

on topic tho, a gunslinger can catch me off gaurd and ill still win if i can notice him fast but if he gets more then 4-5hits in me its a slim chance, im pretty sure scapper is the strongest 1v1 class i really barley loose.. But thats cuz we cheap and shoot first :)

i got my scoundrel scrapper up to 32 and had a blast PVPing. If you get very good keybinds going you will do great. I had some really sweet one on one kills.

@Koensol i don't even remember to be honest, i think its something to do like Haste in WoW, i didn't get high enough lvl to experience it myself, but if i had to guess, that would be my best guess, to improve casting time.
