  • My Dad had one of these as a company car for a short while. Got to bring it home every now and then. I absolutely LOVE the look of the late-model Continentals.

  • do you have a daewoo matiz on your channel.

  • Nice video. Thanks Kyle

  • is there any way you could do a '62 continental?

  • This is my favourite saabkyle04 video... and I cant tell you why either. I just love these cont's

  • the engine on the 1995-2002 Lincoln Continental

    Engine

    4.6 L InTech V8

  • whats the top speed

  • Times like these I wish we drove on the right hand side of the road over here in Australia. : ' (

  • im looking for a first car. anyone recommend this thing?

  • @kershaw95beast A buddy of mine had one and loved it he bought it new in 2002 and never had any serious issues with it. I don't know about a Lincoln as a first car though because repair cost and insurance will be high on a Lincoln than say a ford or chevy.

  • @diecastcarcollecter lincolns don't really cost any more than a ford to repair in general actually. A lot of parts are shared between the two makes.

  • same engine as my moms navigator

  • just bought a black 2000 Lincoln Continental... the one i got has nicer wheels than the one in this particular video... it's an INCREDIBLE car... Horsepower, Torque AND Luxury-- What a beautiful combination!!

  • @bigstickatdragstrip

You're referring to the chrome factory wheels right? My brother bought an '01 Continental in august. It has those wheels & every option except the heated seats. It's a really nice luxury car. I love that it has the Mark VIII engine as well. According to the specs I've read, it's just under 100 pounds heavier than the Mark VIII and it has better gearing, which should make up for the +90 something pounds. I'm very impressed with how hard it pulls. Enjoy your Conti!

  • the 1995-2002 Lincoln Continental was assembled in

    United States: Wixom, Michigan

  • reving the motor while the car is not moving and hurt your motor really bad and you are pretty much screwing the dealership by reving the motor the car will become a piece of crap so dont do it!!

  • Taurus twin just like the Sable

  • Out of interest, in 2000, was the Continental more expensive than the Town Car? They seem quite similar to me.

  • @koobydotnet The town car would have been more, the are some what similar but the town car is much larger and has more room inside.

  • Car has both balls and class.

  • I love these big ass american cars. Wish I had more than just 1 or 2. Wish i had all classics.

  • Nice car

  • I had a 96 Mark VIII that I loved. These are kind of like the love child of a Town Car(three quarters) and a Mark VIII(one third),lol. Thanks Kyle.

  • I just friggin luve my 98 continental

    Good acceleration, and speakers too

  • That’s a really nice car. I was debating whether to get a Grand Marquis or a Lincoln Continental and now my choice is pretty clear lol question though, do all of the 2000 and up Continentals have the features as this one (dash, dual exhaust, seat controls, ect.)?

  • Pretty damn cool

  • I have a 00 Continental myself. Pretty reliable car, I live on a farm and my mom would drive it across corn fields and through shallow ditches with it. That car went off-road more than our trucks lol.

I own it now. Has 120k miles on it and haven't had any problems really.

  • Factory is beautiful, not to mention reliable.

What ever happened to chrome on cars.

seems to have been forgotten about on modern cars.

I swear my buddies 86 signature series has a couple hundred pounds of chrome.

  • @ganymedeIV4 its cuz they stopped making chrome bumpers for cars..........my old 80 Deville had some nice bumpers.

the non-sporty luxury cars usually have decent chrome

  • Comment removed

  • @ganymedeIV4 well ive never seen a lincoln or cadillac grille peel so i think were ok, i know what u are talking about though.

  • I have a 1995 lincoln continental and omfg I love it. Although my front left airbag on the strut is leaking, it still performs like a dream. 0-60 in 8 secs and a 12 sec 1/4 mile (fully stock). Great leather interior, automatic climate control, wood grain trim, great stock sound system, etc it's an amazing car. Oh, and did I mention 30 MPG highway??

  • you mean 15 sec 1/4 mile right? haha btw have you tuned it up yet? too bad you dont live in iowa i would offer to help change the plugs and ect just for the fun of it

  • i have a 1998 continental with a cold air intake and flow masters and that runs 14.21@ 99 mph at rock falls in wisconsin

  • Yeah it was but the people backed out of it or never came or returned phone calls, so it's for sale last I heard
