omg!! if you watch a couple of tutorials and videos on how to work with wire is it all the same, and its about imagination and practice, you people over react! just search on youtube and you will find that amazing artists use this same technique this girl is using, is just having a good idea on what you wanna create and choose pretty material...and most of the time people teach you the basic stuff, its up to you to get an original design

yeah expert village sucks kinda... what i mean to say is that the "experts" usually all have something useful to teach, but the videos are 1-2 minute clips all with introductions and usually with commercials. why not play a commercial if you have to, give your big expert village intro, then make a nice 10 minute video instead of making me watch 13- 1 minute videos. Just a suggestion.

you can make scrolls or other things with wire paper clips that are quite inexpensive.

yeah i use paperclips cos they are so cheap and you get loads lol. the only problem i ever have is that some arent so good and break but you get loads so it doesnt really matter. i find them great for putting beads on cos they tend to be stronger when linked than like silver wire. it looks pretty good too.

The video is clear enough--I had no problems understanding anything she said. As a constructive critique, you could be more specific on tools. If you use the flat jaw faces of a pliers to make a scroll, you won't leave indentations in the wire. Also, a small jeweler's hammer will give you more control touching up your work. Cheers.

You can use it as a clasp for one, also as a bridge inbetween beads etc :) I haven't tried it as yet but I'm learning :). I think she forgot a piece though, time on here is short for vids so, the wire itself. I use wire to make rings, I assume its the same kinda wire. I use mostly sterling silver wire, 18 gage is good, round. They have hard, half hard, silver plated, gold, gold plated, gold filled, copper. Try copper at first its cheaper.

Mr./Ms. Wire Wrappin--Perhaps YOU are the one who needs to go back to wire wrapping school. A self-help program to lose the sneer and the know-it-all attitude would be of benefit, as well. You absolutely CAN make even loops using pliers. I do it all the time. You can also use steel wool to texturize the surface of the wire by lightly scratching it. Jerk.

Worthless video for anyone getting into wire wrapping. Your wire should be perfectly tight and done by hand for even loops. That hammer will not flatten wire. Steel wool does not remove the polish... it removes tarnish. Go back to wire wrapping school.
