I think that guy should put a good vernier slide on the lever and then he won't have to worry about sliding around into the future and past so much and so quickly, it wrecks havoc with the genomes, memory, stuff like that. And pretty girl needs no modification at all. Proof that genetics fiddling is for fools. (nice "twins", they look restless....)

Wasn't there an old story where some guy does a similar experiment and evolves himself into a giant brain, then finally becomes a puddle of protoplasm?

Im trying to remember the title but no dice.

@ReverendSyn The story is THE MAN WHO EVOLVED by Edmond Hamilton. The ending of Hamilton's story was also, originally, the end of The Sixth Finger; according to David Schow in "The Outer Limits Companion", the final scene was to have been an amoebic blob in the evolution chamber, with the Professor intoning "he has gone back to the very beginning of life."

The "tabula rasa" conclusion was reached after several re-writes, one of which had Gwyllm reduced to a chimpanzee.

@darkmarkrammstein If evolution is beyond hatred, revenge and lust for power then a new species will need to take control because humans will never evolve to that point - only when a greater power takes them down will they step back and be "made" to change their ways - but even then will never ever stop their power addicts, killers and sickos who just hurt and want to hurt for fun.

There is so much to be discovered. You see the Knowledge man has access to is unlimited, but his understanding which is what to do with it comes from a different source other than the brain, emotions or 5 senses, It comes from within. It is called insight and it is a gift from God. Without it, we are lost. It is the truest and purest of values in man and it comes from God who dwells within. Thank you
