@Okoroman, maybe you have not realised, the young Igbos are getting wiser than you and your sessasion theory is so late 20th Century. Wake up and smell the coffee. Give us solutions please and not keep pointing problems out for us. if you don't have the solutions then shut your dirty trap. we are sick of your lies and propaganda.
"Please dont give us Biafra, we will skin ourselves alive here in two years flat, we will tear each others eyes our in the name of money!" Source: Ojiego24.
The End of post.
To read this anyone you have to read it you have to start from my first post below that starts with..."The major problem of the Ibos is not the FG but people thinking in the line of MASSOB"...and work your way to the top for the concluding part of this post.
For the first time I have found a honest Igbo man in Ojiego24
"Food is very cheap in the north, Ibos will prefare to stay in the north an feed on cheap yams, beans, fish, beef and forget their hungry brethren in the east. The ones that try and bing in these goods sell them so expensive that you can only imagine the greed. All Ibos want to be bosses, no one wants to suffer and this will be a catalyst for disaster." Source: Ojiego24
"Why are Ibos all living in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and PH? They are hardworking abi, and they can expand, right? Wrong! They are running away to escape their immediate environment, how many come back home after they have made the cash, they only come back for xmas and go back till they grow too old and die." Source: Ojiego24
"Have we forgotten how the Osu caste system is tearing communities apart because some Ibos claim that their forefathers commanded that they dont relate with the other Ibo man because he is Osu and you are a freeborn, you wont marry their girls, you only sleep with them but its an abomination to marry them, - cowards." Source : Ojiego24
"But the one that will finish us here in Biafra will be the class system inside Igboland. A normal Anambra man will never allow an Enugu man to rule him, he feels that others are inferior, the Imo man wiews people from Abia and Ebonyi a second class, (Ndi ime offia)." Source : Ojiego24
"The average Ibo man is greedy, selfish and stubborn(I dont mean to insult us, I am Ibo and have lived my entire life inside Iboland).Give us our own country and we will slaughter ourselves in two years, people that can sell their mummies for cash are demanding to be left alone? There is no respect here, juniors cannot step down for seniors(Chimaroke vs Nwobodo, Ngige vs Esele, etc) in every sphere of life, tell another Ibo man to reason with his head and he will ask you if you are feeding him?"
"Ibo people continue to follow blindly those men, they will step on your heads to occupy high positions and them repeat the cycle, ala Chimaroke, Egwu, Nzeribe, Iwuanyanwu, Udenwa, Uba, (both Andy and Esele) Offor, Kalu the list is endless. They pretend to help the people but their greed is paramount." Source: Ojiego24
"The major problem of the Ibos is not the FG but people thinking in the line of MASSOB. The members I know are more of the lazy, jobless, illiterate portion of the Ibos. No sane peson can support these thieves whose main objective is to fleece the poverty stricken masses further. In all their years, how many 'good' deeds have they done for their people."
Okoroman Forgive Awo for the 22pounds and Biafran blockade, he was misled into thinking by Yakubu Gowon that if he joined the fight against Ojukwu he will step down and let him become Head of state after the war was over, that why Awo did all what he did but Gowon and the North never wanted Him to rule, he realised his mistake when he was attacked in Aba in 1983, that when he knew he hurts Igbos but admire for his free education, health, management style and so on, it is time to move on
Creative boy u have some points, but the 1966coup was not an Igbo coup, Check Nzeogwu's interview and even Obasanjo's interview, that was his best friend Obasanjo till this day gives money to Nzeogwu's family. The coup failed in the east for tactical reasons. Most of the people who were with Nzeogwu were Hausa/Fulani troops, Abiola was not let to rule because he was Yoruba pure and simple, he made a mistake he trusted Babangida to hand over, but he never intended to Abiola.
Okoroman as being Igbo myself, Onitsha people do even get along with Obosi people or is it Abiriba with Owerri people so Awo made a mistake he gave us igbo 22pounds only after the war forgive him for that it is over 40years ago, we Igbos live in Lagos and buy and sell and rent properties to Yorubas, Has Yoruba Muslims ever killed or attacked Igbos? answer is No. Nigeria problem is Northern elite like Babangida, Atiku and Obasanjo, Igbo/Yoruba/Minority tribes greedy leaders
Everybody wants their country, Igboland is landlocked if we separate we need Calabar port and Portharcourt Port, so Okoroman how would we import and export our goods, Middlebelt separates they need Kano Port to export and export thier goods, Yoruba separates who will buy their cocoa and other produce? will Niger Delta and Urhobo let us have access to their oil for free? no way? so separation is not the answer sharing the wealth equally is
this okoro guy thinks everyone is a full, no wonder there is no unity in among them. Let the writer answer this questions like
1 Where was Namdi Azikwe when Tafawa balewa Imprisoned Awolowo
2. If the 1966 coup was not an Igbo coup why was no mahem dont any where in the east at that time. Am very sure if Awo was not in prison they would have murderd him too like other
They started this coup thing but it now turned out against them
This a really stupid document full of lies and misinformation......... You forget this is stil very recent (relatively) and this is a lot of information and people still alive
I advise you shut your mount and stop sowing seed of hatred
Some of the things said in this documentary are not correct. The annulment of June 12 election was ochestrated by Arthur Nzeribe by formation of Association of Better Nigeria that got the injunction to annul June 12 election. It was also true that Abiola said that he could do without the Igbos which angered Nzeribe. It was also not true that 1966 coup was to install Awolowo as the prime minister of Nigeria. But it was a fact that Ojukwu released Awolowo from Calabar prison.
It is time to move on and work together to make Nigeria a country of pride. Where is free education? It is replaced by free corruption, scams and injustice. We should stop finger pointing and bring back our dignity. Use Nigeria resources for/on Nigerian people. Wish there can be revolution to wipe all these corrupt leaders that are still living and set a standard and pattern to bring development back to every sector in Nigeria. Let untiize the brains in Nigeria rather chasing all overseas. Peace
Okoroman,I think you lack some history.WET E(WET IT).Stop this hatred and share the love.Even we all know that Nigeria will be divided sooner or later, but don't forget that we will always be neighbours.
dis is just d propaganda Biafran warlords has been using in the past war, igbo guys are only looking 4 who 2 blames in there mistakes.why don't U hold ya kinsman responsible(Ojukwu)4 ya failures.U always wanted 2 point an accusing fingers 2 other tribes,if ya tribe has a scores 2 settle with d Hausa guys,go & settle ya scores wit dem.we're very proud of our leader(Awolowo) pronouncement 2 protect his people from dying 4 nothing, men wake-up,stop ya propaganda's in dis age.hold ojukwu 4 ya miseries
@Okoroman, your posts are highly entertaining and nonsenscical at the same time. I'll ignore your false assertions and lies about Awolowo but will deal with your misguided comments about Hitler who was Germany's greatest curse. You write that Hitler united Germany and gave his people a sense of pride but forgot to add that in 1945 Russia not only invaded but conquered Germany and we all know what happened afterwards...does East and West Germany ring a bell?
By telling lies and twisting history, you are demonising other nations. And you paint a sorry picture of your people. But you know what? Your people are a core part of the establishment. They've always been. Your weak leader Zik was outfoxed by an illiterate village head (sardauna no go school abi?) effectively selling your birthright in the federation. Ojukwu could have redeemed your position but he bungled it. Truth is you've always played and always lost. Look in the mirror brother......
"Demonising" other nations? Perhaps just like the world "demonized" the Nazi. The truth hurts. No sympathy for the Nazi or Nigerians. Who is fooling who? Fact: Hausa/fulani and Yoruba oligarchs and generals ruled and mismanaged Nigeria for over 40 years looting over $400 billion dollars from resources of Biafran and Mid-Western nationalities, rigged all elections, refused a sovereign national conference, subverted justice, and promoted criminality of sorts across the geospace called Nigeria.
"Demonizing"? Have the Yoruba or Hausa or any other peoples in Nigeria lost Millions in genocide to begin with, and by the hand of Igbos or Biafrans? No, It is the other way round.
@okoroman. Are you really so daft? Those same problems like dearth of jobs and lack of basic amenities are existent in my place. Did I blame Igbo? Many Nigerians from north to south are suffering because of a clueless federal establishment of which IGBO's are part of. But if the federal fails, what of the regional? In the face of federal assault, Tinubu overhauled civillife in Lagos. Who is to blame for the shortcomings of Igbo governors? Awo or maybe Shagari. Homeboy arrange yourself abeg.
Seriously dude you can't be this daft. Fact: Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba oligarchs ruled and mismanaged Nigeria for over 40 years stealing over $400 billion dollars from Biafran and Mid-Western nationalities. They subverted justice and promoted criminality of sorts from the top level in government down to the bottom level. They are responsible for the destruction of our values and the corruption of our people. Those so-called governors are their agents. They used criminals in our society against us.
"Awolowo was a devil and his policies led to the present problems that the people of the Niger Delta are fighting..the Yoruba instead should apologize to the Niger Delta people for the federal government's policies the late premier of defunct Western Region influenced against the interest of the Niger Delta." Asari Dokubo, Champion Newspapers, Tuesday March 22 2005.
@Okoroman You either get a clap or a slap, pls point to one good thing an igbo man has done for this country. i say no leader in the country has match half of the record of Awolowo yet u said he is bad or he is responsible for Nigeria problem. cool down and think without prejudice, he brought the very 1st TV station, he brougth free education to mention a few within very few years of few oportunity. am not suprise people didn't appreciate Jesus too upon all he did in life much less mere mortal
S’East States, Agbakoba Sue FG over Marginalisation
Olawale Olaleye, 10.23.2010, ThisDay
"Five states of the South-East geo-political zone in the country - namely Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra and Abia along with a Lagos-based lawyer, Mr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) have filed a one trillion naira damage claim against the Federal Government for alleged marginalisation of that part of the country and prayed the court for a perpetual order against further discrimination of the zone in near future"
The truth is whatever problems you think you had has been a combination of subterfuge by and shortcomings of Igbo leadership, past and present (and future?) leadership and just plain stupidity on the part of people like you. Never playing to your strengths but blaming others. As a matter of fact, Sardauna and Awo are responsible for the spate of kidnappings in Igboland today. One day, another Igboman will find himself in a position to decide for his people. Let the lessons from before guide us.
Where was the weakling Zik when Ojukwu's immaturity was playing out? Today your people still live and work among the "Hausa-Fulani/Yoruba" oligarchy. What an irony! So the first biafra was reactionary, Either a struggle for Igbo survival or the delusion of an immature leader. If we assume the former, what is the real rationale for this new stupidity. As in really. Your people are scattered around the four corners of the country settled with local populations and doing well economically. ctd.
And what of the shortcomings of the immature leader Ojukwu? The killing of southerners but mainly Igbo is a crime that Nigeria must come to terms with, but in the aftermath, was secession the option? Let no Igboman be decieved, Ojukwu had choices (YES HE HAD OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE BIG DEMANDS ON THE BEHALF OF HIS PEOPLE) and being a golden leader, he chose war against a country. .What a visionary! Slammed Iheonukara into jail and bungled a chance to win the support of Awo. ctd.
The fact is that Igbos were the original northern collaborators. Cue 1959, Zik of Africa spending the better part of his political career collaborating with the north. That is just a little bit insignificant. The fact that he spent the rest competing against the Yoruba bastard Awo the great is also a bit insignificant. Micheal Okpara brought major development to the east by photocopying the blueprint of his good friend, that yoruba bastard Awo. Best to avoid saying that in your drivel. ctd...
A stupid fella like @Biafrans7 who can't even rationalise his peoples' history, a plain jane who actually knows nothing but what okoro the fool says on youtube repeatedly uses the word FACTS like a pro. Good for you. As a nation, albeit a very frustrated one at that, it is the right of Igbo to seek self determination. Okoro the fool assumes that at the moment, Igbos are LOSERS! You accept. The fool further opines that other ethnicities are responsible for IGBO being losers! You accept again! ctd
Okoro the fool has barred me from responding in 1 of 2. @Biafrans7 and every other intellectually challenged Igbofolk like him who really believe this fool's drivel , listen carefully.
Blogging on the incident, I compared her action in ruining her face to the readiness of the Republican Party to ruin a great nation just to give a Black person a bad name. Similarly, it’s terribly and so saddeningly disheartening to perceive actions from some Igbos that suggest satisfaction with the dilapidation of the nation Nigeria rather than cooperate with Awolowo to, as he so adroitly put it in the 1978 presidential campaign, put in place “a system of governance that no rascal can destroy."
To continue to think, a FULL decade into the 21st century, that Nigeria did not sustain a terrible loss in not benefitting from programs such as Awo put in place in the West in the 60s is mind-boggling. I regret this writing has gone on so long but I’ll wrap up with the analogy of Bethany Storro, a Vancouver, Washington young lady and the Republican Party of the USA. Ms. Storro threw acid in her own face and blamed it on a non-existent Black woman. cont.
These include universal free education and healthcare in the Yoruba-dominated Western Region from which Igbos that were resident in the region benefitted. That’s not to mention the first TV station in Black Africa (WNTV), the world-class Liberty Stadium, Cocoa House skyscraper. Okoroman, these are tangible products on the small scale of the West that could have been magnified to the broader national stage of our motherland but for the spite that was difficult to understand even 30 years ago...
@Okoroman A strawman argument if ever there was one, Okoroman. Quite a stretch to invoke Hitler in talking about Awo – the Jews never declared war on Hitler’s country; neither was Hitler engaged in an effort to sooner than later stop a needless fratricide. Let’s allow reason to prevail and stop this sham already. I wish you well.
@bolajiutube FYI: The Jews are still hunting down the Nazi today. The Jews have said never again and have vowed to therefore declare war on their enemies if they are touched again, that is why they don't take nonsense from their neighbours today. Just you try them, and see their response. You are free renounce Awo/Hitler and Awoism/Nazism if you don't want to be ranked as an Awoist/Nazi and consequently be treated like one.
@Okoroman ...This okoroman need a sarcastic doctor as soon as possible...How could a grown up man spent his most valuable time on stupid stuff like this.
@Okoroman Yuou completely missed the point as usual. Hitler did for white Germans. He was a crazy animal in human clothing. If Hitler is your idol, I pray your Biafran dream dies a miserable death.
@darthluke66 No YOU completely missed the point as usual. Awo was a crazy treacherous bastard in human skin, who Ojukwu should have let die and rot in the Nigerian prison.
@Okoroman : You raving lunatic. What is that word for a fool that starts with I and ends with a T? that is what you are. Ojukwu said, and I quote, "Awolowo is the best President Nigeria never had". So think, Ojukwu, if your leader tells us this, then surely your allegations are baseless lies. Even Ojukwu knew the truth and cared about Igbos only, so how dare you expect Awolowo not to defend his people or do you think he is a spineless, treacherous traitor like you? You Bastard in animal skin.
@Okoroman i surpport your separatist agenda, but there are a lot in you stories that are not facts. what city or cities where Yorubas were killing Igbos in 1966 or ever fought each other? where Yorubas were killing each other? Chief Odugwu Ojukwu never said there were any fight between Yorubas and Igbos in the western region or killing of Igbo people there in any of his video interviews on youtube. Tell everybody what was the main caused of the Nigeria civil war? not the Yorubas caused it.
to favor the (majority Hausa) NPN during the 1979 elections further demonstrated the cut-off-the-nose-to-spite-the-face mentality that has brought Nigeria to her current state of hopelessness. Whereas many utterances and/or actions attributed to Papa Awolowo by some Igbos (and considered detrimental) may have been unfounded but gained foothold through proven political smarts of well-respected Igbo leaders, the concrete achievements of the sage remain historic. cont.
It would be unfair to deny you the vitriol contained in your video clips – even if at the expense of the departed whose concrete achievements to the glory of Nigeria and mankind are copiously documented. The atrocity dealt Igbos in our common homeland is most unfortunate. My Igbo friends during NYSC in Kaduna (1978-79) gave hints of the sentiments expressed by Okoroman here. Also, the (majority Igbo) NPP’s spite of the (majority Yoruba) UPN cont.
okoroman i really appreciate your sense of understanding.but i stand to correct u on this fact that awolowo was not released by ojukwu and i'm dead sure that he surely in is heart of heart regret not doing that.though he did visit him while in prison.it was gowon who maximised that opportunity and released him on the 2nd of august 1966 and was pronounced minister of finance and also the vice chairman of the provisonal ruling council.u dont expect awo not to appreciate his new found freedom.
i am a yoruba man . i dont understand why we betray so much but what this man doesnt know is all this is beyond mere ethnic clashes but is influenced by the western world .
MegaNigerianQueen l am igbo but l think it is time to move on Okoroman some what he is saying makes sense, but l believe we have to move on. l am very great admirer of Awolowo, l am a scientist today in usa, l benefitted from his free education in lagos l thank him for that. Okoroman Igbos live in Yorubaland and do business there they let us live there. The problem in Nigeria is with Northern elite and thier southern collabrators
@77wababa I really like your comment, am a yoruba man and if i want to blame people for the misfutune of this country I know i will mention Housa, Igbo and yoruba greedy men alike. why are you this igbo guys full of prejudice? it is a youruba man that has been rulling in you states as governors? dont u ve minister in the Federal that are igbos. think like a person wif free mind, loosen youself from lies u ve been told. see things like an educated man and let work to change this country for good
Awolowo, remains a War criminal together with his Sharia counterparts.. Anyone praising such criminal (In line with Hitler), must equally be charged with holocaust/pogrom denial.
It cannot be any different from the Nazi crimes.. The world must take note.
@RealAFRO if Awo is a war criminal, what do we call Ojukwu? his selfish action made led him to a battle he can't win. his action coupled with your greed at the eastern part made u remain slave and third player in the affiar of your father land. you sow oil and made a deal with france and wanted to ran away. bunch of thiefs grow up guys.
thank God for the like of Awo that saved the minority (the Calaba, Iroboh, Ogoni, efik etc) from your greedy exploits. or do you think your tribes are the same?
@Ejiyemi : God bless you. This man is not even a tribalist, he is doing this for his selfish interest. This is the type of oerson that got the Biafran war start in the first place by feeding Innocent and gullible Ndigbos will rubbish and baseless lies!
Okoroman is a LIAR!
@Biafran: If you believe he is not lying, tell Okoroman to give us a recorded videos and recordings of what happened and not some hugwashed lies!
Okoroman: It is people like you that must never be trusted and listen to because you are a coward and a liar and propangandist. Just recently, a media documentation and witnessed was published that Fajuyi died for a full blooded Igboman, Aguiyi (Ndigbos has never acknowlegded or say thank you to Fajuyi or his family till today for that act of loyalty! Don't lie to us here, no Ndigbo has ever supported any Yorubas in anything, anywhere. ndigbos are always backstabbers and double-faced cowards.
Okoroman: you are prophet of false and doom and woe betides you! You liar! We are your evidences and who are the witnesses? Useless man, were you there? Don't show us pictures, show us videos fool!
@Ejiyemi What did he lie about? We belong to tribes you know and a lot of innocent Igbo, Ijaw, Annang, Efik etc have suffered and been murdered for that reason. We never had your voice in criticism of that. Could it be because you maybe appreciated those heinous evils?
GOD IS FIGHTING FOR BIAFRA. we will fet our freedom soon or later!! we all no that now world powers can see that country nigeria is not ment to be a country but you cant hide the truth forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dumb sh*ts - once again a weak igbo attempt to blame the yoruba for its misfortune. rather than point the finger you better check yourselves. Awo did not lead the igbos into war neither did the yoruba plan the first ever military coup. If there is any waking up to be done it should be by the igbos who are so dumb they can't see past their own mistakes.
@abbeydcool listen very carefully u will see that okoroman is not just ranting he spread the truth to the world to see that nigeria is a fake country who is taking nigeria seriouse in these world we are living? no because from nigerian leaders to common man in nigeria is a criminal blood thirsty bastards they are not real they all think of themselves no one nigeria is all talks mark my word nothing good comes out from nigeria cus they hate there surpposed fellow nigerians which we all no...
@Okoroman, you seem to be bright-minded, but your occupying yourself so bitterly on this issue, show to me that you have nothing better to do with your time. Please, this is man-made history with so much human factors. You just have to accept things that way. Stop being bitter and we do not hope to have part 3 on this.
"when I became governor of the East, my mind immediately went to Chief Obafemi Awolowo where he was in Calabar. I gave him as much protection as I could. The same as I did to J.S. Tarka. It was my own decision to release him (Awo) but not on any understanding. I released him because I felt that was one of the problems that beset Nigeria even before the attempted coup. On his release, he drove in the car, followed by my own personal guard.." -- Emeka Ojukwu. Tell Magazine. September 18, 2000.
Okoroman the semi-illiterate who knows nothing about the history of nigeria needs to shut his mouth up and stop deceiving ibos with his stupid rants on youtube.
@Kenrow0, You would have dispelled any suspicion of your obvious shallow cover-up of your ignorance, idiocy and malice if you had mentioned what you know about your Nigerian history in contrast to his. As you can see, your name-calling just didn't do the job.
@kenrow0 ..pls kenrow0 check your history books, okoroman is just narrating what happened in nigeria, check your history books, even the secondary school history books has details of how the southern eastern nigeria were betrayed and let down.
@nbaby35 : Ha ha ha. LOL. Books written by Okoroman? Show us the videos of who said what and what and where and with witnesses? We don't want propagandas!
"All is fair in war, and starvation is one of the weapons of war. I don't see why we should feed our enemies fat in order for them to fight harder." -- Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Minister of Finance -- New York Review. December 21, 1967.
"Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the political leader of the Yorubas and the Western Region has called on the entirety of the Yorubas to support Gowon's Federal Government. Chief Awolowo, who is Commissioner of Finance... began his statement, issued yesterday, by saying that he felt it necessary to "counter" appeals from the Eastern regime to Yorubas to desert the federal government and Nigerian Army and liberate themselves from domination by Hausas and Fulanis." ---- New York Times. August 13, 1967.
@Biafrans7 : Ndigbos should have respected the agreement made to the Westerner Regions to ceased instead of backstabbing and greedily wanting to take regions that does not belong to them along. This was told to me by a honest elderstate Igbo man who was aware and a witness to what happened in those years before & during the war. He said he is ashamed of people like Okoroman who is twisting history for his selfish interests, and other gullible Ndigbos who readily believes in this nonsense.
"..If the Eastern Region is allowed by acts of omission or commission to secede from or opt out of Nigeria, then the Western Region and lagos must also stay out of the Federation.." --- Obafemi Awolowo to Western Leaders of Thought at Ibadan. May 1, 1967.
"..if the north attacked the East, it could only be for the purpose of further strengthening and entrenching its position of dominance in the country." --- Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo in his speech to the Western Leaders off Thought in Ibadan, May 1, 1967.
Story: The Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, the Oodua Peoples' Congress (OPC) has called fo the secession of the Yoruba from Nigeria, following the unabated killings of the Yoruba in northern Nigeria." --- Nigerian Tribune Newspapers. Thursday February 4, 2010.
We know that most of Iboland is landlocked. And, most of the resources (specifically the oil) are NOT geographically within Iboland! Many Ibos by nature are good and enterprising people. But its an open secret that they cant stay within such limited confines for long. I guess Biafrans can always go to the Oduduwa Republic Embassy in Enugu to secure multiple visa/working visas to stay in Lagos. Not sure where the Arewa Republic Embassy would be! Things that make you say hmm. War is wrong,.
@abbeydcool I am sure that you know that the formation of nigeria at the beginning was west, north and south. Read the map and tell me where the niger deltar is located? States were created during murtala's regime to improve development and not for tribal reasons or the yorubars to own the oil. We the easterners are not beginng the niger deltar to be biafra yet Asaba will remain to be their capital. Asaba, is not a yoruba language, I beleive.
What happened to the Ibos during the civil war was despicable - a genocidal act no doubt. But continual agitation for a Biafran nationhood by whipping up ethnic sentiments and deriding past non-Ibo leader is what bothers me. I, along with some friends constantly talk about a Dora or Ngozi presidency in Nigeria as a viable way forward to fixing the Nigeria rot. If Nigeria fractures into different nations, it would give us the right to sell our oil to those damned 3 major tribes at our price!
@xythinker Why are the killers and oppressors of Igbo and Biafrans till today, not whipping up ethnic sentiments, but the Igbo and their brothers in the East who want to stay away from this evil and demand so are whipping up ethnic sentiments? See why you are evil? How does an Igbo-presidency, which the Igbo no more wants, become a substitute for the horrible, incalculable and irreparable damages and loss of lives and property? Does citizenship mean incurring such horrid calamities?
In what way will a Dora or Ngozi presidency be a viable way forward. Nigerians are so evil they would never concede your rights and earnest desires, but offer the useless bets they use to trap people in slavery to them. In which way will Dora or Ngozi change Nigeria from being the evil that always destroys good?
So much hot-air, so many lies! I am from the riverine area and see all three major tribes as the same. despoilers of tour oil-producing land and asporters of our resources. We dont need the Ibos either for any protection whatsoever. Kettle calling the pot black indeed. Tufia.
@xythinker, the lies here are so far told by you. Are three major ethnicities the same?To see the three major tribes as the same when they are not will suggest an ulterior malicious motive in such judgment. The Igbo cannot exploit what it has and is its own and have not offered protection to anybody.
awolowo how can u kill so many souls like that and think u will have a peaceful life?i no that u and hitler are in a special cell in hell fire cus boy ooo boy both of u love drinking blood of innocent man woman and child no body in these world hav killed so many lifes like awolowo and adof hitler did in 40s and 60s even sadam didnt kill that much and thats the kind of person nigeria will can a hero thats ? the country is a joke to the world..

Sunday May 6, 2007.
awolowo will never have peace in HELL FIRE he will burn and countinue to burn in hell i pray that his wickedness and his hate to igbos the children of biafrans that he starved to death there cry in heaven will still bring more and more punishment to him and poeple that supported him will all get their own slowly in different ways GOD no how to pay when the time comes BIAFRANS blood will keep dealing with them to there grave AMEN....

@moscolah Only God Knows, but one sure thing is that it could come from you if you did not benefit from the good deeds of Awo like free education, oportunity to watch tv station and many other goodies awo brought ths country. Selfish people. why did you start the war ? importing amornitions from France. if Biafra has won the war at the espense of other they would't have gone to hell o ? let us just peacfull go our separate way cos it obviouse we re not for each other. greedy oil driven people
okoroman now the wrold will pay more attention on ur speech now they will no the truth in you, norherners are our big problem follow by south west nigeria growing trorrist in the north, and west, we are not nigeria we are different from them i keep saying these again and again.....
but the easterners are no problems to anyone? ride on lies on lies. anyway that human lies. u want to go because of petroleum in the niger delta, greedy people
"People were told that it was an Igbo coup but that is not correct. It is a very interesting part of the Nigerian story. In the first place, there have been many serious lies that have been told by our leaders in the last 45 years of Nigeria's history. Our leaders have not been bold enough to tell the truth."..."the plan of the coup makers was to release Awolowo from jail and make him their own leader." - Odia Ofeimun, [Secretary to Obafemi Awolowo], Guardian Newspapers, Sunday May 6, 2007.
The author of why we struck, Adewale Ademoyega [Yoruba], is one of those that planned and executed the first Nigerian coup detat of 15th January, 1966. In his prelude, he identifies political amalgamation, colonialism, character of Nigerian independence and, opposition politics as main issues which attracted the attention of the coup plotters.
The division within the ranks and files of the political class in Nigeria is another factor he considers to arouse military consciousness to take over power. It is interesting to note that the book shows that the coup [dubbed by the Hausa/Fulani-Yoruba controlled Nigerian State as "Igbo Coup" ] was planned by young military officers, Igbo and non-Igbo, not just officers of Igbo decent as the Nigerian State [in its anti-Igbo/anti-Biafra propaganda] will like you to believe.
When Awolowo after the Biafra-Nigeria war of 1960 -1970 stole all the money Biafrans including Niger Deltans had in their bank accounts and gave every Biafran twenty pounds to survive on, he was cheered by his fellow Yoruba and the Hausa-Fulani.
Awolowo stated openly that starvation is a legitimate instrument of war and sanctioned the starvation of all the people of Eastern Region Biafra including the people of the Niger Delta. Millions of babies, children, pregnant women, old women and old men were starved to death by Anthony Enahoro, Awolowo, Yakubu Gowon and other baby killers of Nigeria. Today the Yoruba are attempting to canonize this devil Awolowo as St. Awolowo.
@Okoroman your leader that lack foresight started the war they cant finish. in as much as i not in surport of the starvention agenda. why start a war wif a much stronger, wiser and legitimate opponet. seeth thou a man that want to wage war without first sitting down and count the cost. in war the first casualty is the truth. therefore dont start any war u re not sure of finishing good day.
what we Igbos need is a group that will protect us.Like the OPC fights for yorubas in their land; however he need to spread this group to every state populated by Igbos. all of this stuff that MASSOB is doing, this nonviolent stuff is making us look like complainers, truth be told.
@Okoroman : May be if you Ndigbos, backstabbers had stick to the original agreement to breakaway to Biafra and go away with Biafran areas instead of greedily wanting to steal along with you places like Lagos and other rich Western Region areas. You never learn, you are still wanting to steal other Niger-Delta States in this present day, by confusing yourself that this areas are now by your twisted mind that Niger-Delta is part of Ndigbo, because of Oil and Gas, Niger Deltans are wiser than that
@Okoroman : Are you sure you are not confusing Awolowo with ZIK and Ojukwu. By the way, why did ZIK run away during the way? Ask Ojukwu where he was operating from during the war? Always looking for a cheap way out, just like Ohakim is now asking Fashola to give him money to pay Igbo investors who lost money in the stock exchange and Banks in Lagos (same banks owned and run by so called "Entrepreneurs Ndigbos). You stole all Yoruba's money in that Stock Exchange 419 Scam and you all know it!
@planetolusola... this is not okoroman's 'opinion',..... this is 'fact' . A fact recorded by history and for all posterity to bear witness.. be true to yurself and accept it or stay in denial and leave it. and yes you are damm right, He was a pan africanist to 'his people'
@Okoroman : You foolish man with your useless ugly voice and your useless so called leader ZIK and OJUKWU are treacherous bastards! Have you ever asked Ojukwu (an Igboman why he had said famously that, Awolowo was the best President Nigeria never had because of people like you and your selfish useless mentality. You belong in Mental institution in Hell!
It may seem so difficult and promisingly bloodbathing but we are left with only a choice PICK UP ARM AND FIGHT , GOD CAN NOT COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO DO THIS MEN ON EARTH WILL
Death sometimes is a necessary end and if so why not die with honour than living in bondage, I believe in the Nobel Price for Peace acceptance speach of the American president , mere words don't often get the needed peace; sometimes violence is absolutely necessary. Whenever there is need MEN need to be MEN.

Most of the people who were with Nzeogwu were Hausa/Fulani troops, Abiola was not let to rule because he was Yoruba pure and simple, he made a mistake he trusted Babangida to hand over, but he never intended to Abiola.
heybaba77 2 months ago

2. If the 1966 coup was not an Igbo coup why was no mahem dont any where in the east at that time. Am very sure if Awo was not in prison they would have murderd him too like other
They started this coup thing but it now turned out against them

Look in the mirror brother......
rayangeegs 1 year ago
"Demonising" other nations? Perhaps just like the world "demonized" the Nazi. The truth hurts. No sympathy for the Nazi or Nigerians. Who is fooling who? Fact: Hausa/fulani and Yoruba oligarchs and generals ruled and mismanaged Nigeria for over 40 years looting over $400 billion dollars from resources of Biafran and Mid-Western nationalities, rigged all elections, refused a sovereign national conference, subverted justice, and promoted criminality of sorts across the geospace called Nigeria.
Okoroman 1 year ago

Okoroman 1 year ago
The truth is whatever problems you think you had has been a combination of subterfuge by and shortcomings of Igbo leadership, past and present (and future?) leadership and just plain stupidity on the part of people like you. Never playing to your strengths but blaming others. As a matter of fact, Sardauna and Awo are responsible for the spate of kidnappings in Igboland today. One day, another Igboman will find himself in a position to decide for his people. Let the lessons from before guide us.
rayangeegs 1 year ago
Where was the weakling Zik when Ojukwu's immaturity was playing out? Today your people still live and work among the "Hausa-Fulani/Yoruba" oligarchy. What an irony! So the first biafra was reactionary, Either a struggle for Igbo survival or the delusion of an immature leader. If we assume the former, what is the real rationale for this new stupidity. As in really. Your people are scattered around the four corners of the country settled with local populations and doing well economically. ctd.
rayangeegs 1 year ago

Best to avoid saying that in your drivel. ctd...

Blogging on the incident, I compared her action in ruining her face to the readiness of the Republican Party to ruin a great nation just to give a Black person a bad name. Similarly, it’s terribly and so saddeningly disheartening to perceive actions from some Igbos that suggest satisfaction with the dilapidation of the nation Nigeria rather than cooperate with Awolowo to, as he so adroitly put it in the 1978 presidential campaign, put in place “a system of governance that no rascal can destroy."
bolajiutube 1 year ago

@bolajiutube The great things Adolf Hitler did:
1) He unified the German people and helped them regain their sense of pride
2) Stabilized the German economy and eliminated foreign debt
3) He instituted the standardized schedule for the German train system and a standardized measurement for rail cars
4) Created the modern autobahn system
5) Encouraged the development of the Volkswagen
6)Instituted the Kindergarten system
7) Encouraged the development of jet aircraft, and rocket development

@Okoroman A strawman argument if ever there was one, Okoroman. Quite a stretch to invoke Hitler in talking about Awo – the Jews never declared war on Hitler’s country; neither was Hitler engaged in an effort to sooner than later stop a needless fratricide. Let’s allow reason to prevail and stop this sham already. I wish you well.
bolajiutube 1 year ago
@bolajiutube FYI: The Jews are still hunting down the Nazi today. The Jews have said never again and have vowed to therefore declare war on their enemies if they are touched again, that is why they don't take nonsense from their neighbours today. Just you try them, and see their response. You are free renounce Awo/Hitler and Awoism/Nazism if you don't want to be ranked as an Awoist/Nazi and consequently be treated like one.

to favor the (majority Hausa) NPN during the 1979 elections further demonstrated the cut-off-the-nose-to-spite-the-face mentality that has brought Nigeria to her current state of hopelessness. Whereas many utterances and/or actions attributed to Papa Awolowo by some Igbos (and considered detrimental) may have been unfounded but gained foothold through proven political smarts of well-respected Igbo leaders, the concrete achievements of the sage remain historic. cont.

If Nigeria fractures into different nations, it would give us the right to sell our oil to those damned 3 major tribes at our price!
xythinker 2 years ago
@xythinker Why are the killers and oppressors of Igbo and Biafrans till today, not whipping up ethnic sentiments, but the Igbo and their brothers in the East who want to stay away from this evil and demand so are whipping up ethnic sentiments? See why you are evil? How does an Igbo-presidency, which the Igbo no more wants, become a substitute for the horrible, incalculable and irreparable damages and loss of lives and property? Does citizenship mean incurring such horrid calamities?
Biafrans7 2 years ago
In what way will a Dora or Ngozi presidency be a viable way forward. Nigerians are so evil they would never concede your rights and earnest desires, but offer the useless bets they use to trap people in slavery to them. In which way will Dora or Ngozi change Nigeria from being the evil that always destroys good?

So much hot-air, so many lies! I am from the riverine area and see all three major tribes as the same. despoilers of tour oil-producing land and asporters of our resources. We dont need the Ibos either for any protection whatsoever. Kettle calling the pot black indeed. Tufia.
xythinker 2 years ago 2
@xythinker, the lies here are so far told by you. Are three major ethnicities the same?To see the three major tribes as the same when they are not will suggest an ulterior malicious motive in such judgment. The Igbo cannot exploit what it has and is its own and have not offered protection to anybody.

Okoroman 2 years ago

Okoroman 2 years ago
Awolowo stated openly that starvation is a legitimate instrument of war and sanctioned the starvation of all the people of Eastern Region Biafra including the people of the Niger Delta. Millions of babies, children, pregnant women, old women and old men were starved to death by Anthony Enahoro, Awolowo, Yakubu Gowon and other baby killers of Nigeria. Today the Yoruba are attempting to canonize this devil Awolowo as St. Awolowo.

what we Igbos need is a group that will protect us.Like the OPC fights for yorubas in their land; however he need to spread this group to every state populated by Igbos. all of this stuff that MASSOB is doing, this nonviolent stuff is making us look like complainers, truth be told.

@Okoroman : May be if you Ndigbos, backstabbers had stick to the original agreement to breakaway to Biafra and go away with Biafran areas instead of greedily wanting to steal along with you places like Lagos and other rich Western Region areas. You never learn, you are still wanting to steal other Niger-Delta States in this present day, by confusing yourself that this areas are now by your twisted mind that Niger-Delta is part of Ndigbo, because of Oil and Gas, Niger Deltans are wiser than that
MegaNigerianQueen 1 year ago
@Okoroman : Are you sure you are not confusing Awolowo with ZIK and Ojukwu. By the way, why did ZIK run away during the way? Ask Ojukwu where he was operating from during the war? Always looking for a cheap way out, just like Ohakim is now asking Fashola to give him money to pay Igbo investors who lost money in the stock exchange and Banks in Lagos (same banks owned and run by so called "Entrepreneurs Ndigbos). You stole all Yoruba's money in that Stock Exchange 419 Scam and you all know it!

Death sometimes is a necessary end and if so why not die with honour than living in bondage, I believe in the Nobel Price for Peace acceptance speach of the American president , mere words don't often get the needed peace; sometimes violence is absolutely necessary. Whenever there is need MEN need to be MEN.
