There are many ex-scientologists who are intelligent, compassionate people...Check out ToryMagoo44 here on YT. Sure, it may seem really stupid to us on the outside who have never experienced the brainwashing. But you calling someone a jackass because it took them a long time to realise scientology is fucked really just shows that you have a bit more research to do.

All I ask is that you, unlike so many others examine information on both sides of the story instead of riding a hobby horse on one side which is 90% scandal and BS. I am not saying that is you. Others are like that. They believe everything the media cooks up. they have no idea whats going on behind it all.

The media aren't the only stakeholders in the community who are trying to expose the abuses of scientology. If you are a true believer then you will have trouble understanding that "whats going on behind it all" is not what you think. However, If you are a reasonably skeptical person then you also will look at both sides and see that ex-scientologists are not all criminals, instead of labelling them as such (or mentally ill - another hippocracy as david miscaviage is absolutely mentally ill)

Scientology lower levels equate to ridding a person of their own soul's this lifetime and past lfetime traumas, to the "Clear" status. Scientology upper levels ((OT levels 3 to 7( result in the Scientology being indoctrinated into the idea they are infested with "alien souls" that need to be exorcized, and they exorcize themselves of these "alien souls" which Scientology/Hubbard confidentially label these alien souls as "body thetans." All that is left is becoming a soul without a body.
