free hand shaping is great but using the templates is not accurate and quite difficult especially circles that require dexterity - wish I could have tried one before purchasing and then I wouldn't have!! I have a variety of Fiskars products and have been happy with them but not this product. I now use Fiskars soft grip craft knife with super results.
I was ready to throw mine in the bin until I watched this. I was using the stencil on its wrong side, which meant that the cutter wasn't doing what it was supposed to be doing. Good instructional video.
Can you make your own templates out of acrylic for example to use with the Fiskars shape cutter plus? I'm looking for a system that allows me to do that.
