  • windows xp lol

  • 6 ms respond? lawl lawl lawl!

  • That's ugly as fuck!!!!!!!!!

  • $1500 WHAT THE FUCK

  • 1000:1 contrast ratio. that is terrible

  • @RandomipodVids1 is 8.000.000 : 1 contrast ratio good? and 5ms response time? respond plz

  • @Ghettomackie the contrast is brilliant and the response time is pretty much standard

  • @RandomipodVids1 ok thanks and thanks for the fast respond

  • Best buy was wrong. Mine just arrived damaged and sending it back but yes it does take double cords--2 dvi cords going from the computer and into the monitor. I know because it has them in the box. double identical cords--both ends have the same ends....I wont be able to keep it and have to send it back because I also have to computers i toggle back and forth between--thus making it especially impossible...

  • Wait a second. I need to plug it into two DVI ports at the same time? O_o

  • @AikiNickAMV

no, only one DVI-D (Dual Link) cable. Search Google for more info.

  • @RedKnightAL mine came with double cords--in other words 4 total plugs all identical.. i have to send it back

  • @AikiNickAMV no--mine arrives tomorrow--and that isnt what it means there is only one cable plugged in they explained it at best buy when i asked about the video card

Ill ;post a video about how the monitor works out--plus i suffered long and hard between different monitors including this 32 inch toshiba tv

  • this guy gonna go blind really soon...

  • i lol'd at the little tiny background. be hard to find a 2560*1600 background though...

  • What Graphics card would EASILY run at max resolution?

  • @einstienear The new GTX 590 and AMD 6990 would run such monitor.

These high-end cards are made for such big resolutions.

  • If your buying 12 of these you better have a decent set up

  • DOUBLE what is SHOULD cost.

  • I've got that keyboard, and might be getting that monitor next year.

  • lol, u need both dvi cables for 2560-1600, thats hilarious. plus u nubs out here, this is back in 08,no nvidia 3d

  • Have you played 3d games before? I've played mw2 in nvidia 3d and it is laughable. I would rather much have a sharp, high contrast screen. Games get old real fast in 3d. This screen's high resolution is directed towards CAD professionals and photo editing with its wide color gamut. I don't play games, but if i did, i would definitely choose something other than this preferably with a faster response time.

  • 6ms is good for such a high res - u dont get 3ms for 30 inch monitors. and u wouldnt be able to tell the difference between 3ms and 6ms anyway. through the human eye anyway.

  • 6ms is crap

    3ms is standard

    6ms is actually abnormal

  • this review is over 18 months old, dont judge.

  • het do anybody noe how can i use my samsing lcd 6 series as my monitor too

    i have hp pavilion m9150

  • owned, this one is 1600p

  • Owned? That guy is wearing glasses for a reason.

    pwnd

  • no ur owned u think ur fucken tv is better lolz

  • Sounds like you are the one who paid too much. Monitors capable of more than 1080 vertical pixies are available for way under $900.

  • I bought 32" LG 32LH40. 2.7ms response time, full 1080p, HDMI input, 120Hz TruMotion. For $900 I also got 4 year warranty and 25" ethernet cable (for xbox)

  • @rhynix20 apples to oranges buddy, monitors are a lot more different than TV's

  • holy shit were???? it supports nvidia 3d?

  • nvm its a TV GAY

  • since when do TV's have a 2560x1600 XHD resolution?...

  • you mean 1920x1200, yeah they're cheap...but we would prefer 2560x1600...that's a lot more pixels...

  • and your TV native resolution is 2560x1600 pixels ? I guess not, LCD is as expensive as bigger native resolution is, not screen size.

Big screen with big pixels are cheap to make

  • god damnit, they are saying 6 ms on here? but on different sites it says 12 ms...

  • grey to grey or black to black, 6ms and 12 ms

  • I don't get it. lol

  • isn't 12 ms response time slow?

  • are there any 30-inch moniters you can get for under $1000?

  • 19-22 are awesome.

  • this one is 900 right now

  • keep in mind there are other factors you should look out for such as response time.

i love how this guy doesnt even mention the 6ms response time.

  • Yeah he does. In the beginning, after saying the price when hes saying the specs.

  • why don'tyou freakin buy a 46 inch yv for that?

  • 46" tv's max resolution is 1920x1080, this monitor supports up to 2560x1600 resolution..

  • a tv and monitor are two different things

  • i know, i replied to "ilikesonyps2"'s comment.

  • is there any bleed threw on the sides over time and the 6ms is a little slow what about input lag???? what is the best 2ms lcd monitor you know of?????

  • samsungs 53 series lcd monitors!!! they are amazing!!!

  • Very nice yup I'm looking for a good 30 inch LCD to get next year

  • thats a pretty good 30 inch

  • he's running xp

  • Could it easily handle a eVGA GeForce 295.

  • Yes, even a GTX 260 could handle a 30" lcd.

  • my 32" vizio is even better as a monitor

  • Your 32" can't support the 2560x1600 resolution, nor can it support the refresh rates. So...fail.

  • yeah but i save $900, and even though it cant support the resolution, it can get close enough, and look crystal clear. so...fail

  • You didn't save $900 by purchasing the Vizio 32". Who are you trying to fool...fool? At most, you saved $500-$600.

  • just so people know, a computer monitor's resolution can NOT be compaired to a tv. they are rated differently (reference to what pku had said). the 1080 just means what is being put on the screen, while the monitor's resolution tells how many pixels you have on the screen, that is ALL.

  • actually the 1080 tells you how many lines of resolution there are (1920x1080)

  • that's what i was trying to say, its just with this stupid character limit, i couldn't put everything up. 1080P is the horizontal resolution being repeated over and over, 1080I is the horizontal rezolution staying static with vertical lines moving over it to change the appearance.

  • so why cant you compare a computer monitor's resolution? wouldnt a monitor with 1920x1080 be 1080p by tv standards?

  • you can compair, but it does not mean it is real HD. an LCD monitor can be 1920x1080 all it wants, but it doesn't mean that it is HD. it just means that there are that many pixels.

  • thats what 1080p means on an hd tv, theres that many pixels =/

  • haha I got myself a LG-Philips Q5 panel and assembled my own for about 450 bucks. I'll have to do my own A/S, but hey it's awesome.

  • for anyone that dosent no its at 1600p rez wich is really good considering the highest rez i ever herd of on a tv is 1080p

  • holy shit what res is that lol?

  • Like most 30in. monitors, it maxxes out most graphics cards at 2560x1600

  • 1337AsianProductions,

Thanks for sharing your insight with other users! The maximum resolution is 2560 x 1600, and you can find more details by searching HP LP3065 on digitaltrendsDOTcom and reading the full review.

Thanks for watching and the feedback!

  • Ie why its pointless to have anything bigger then 30 inch.

  • i have 1 of these behimoths, and i love it

  • fatcrispie,

Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the videos.
