hiit doesn't work for everybody, even with proper nutrition. you can lose body fat and get shredded from doing cardio. it's just the amount of time you do cardio that's important. not too little, not too much. proper timing is key to targeting primarily fat loss and not muscle catabolism.
I have gained a lot of strength and presumably muscle over the past 9 months of weight lifting. What kind of fat percentage thresh hold should I maintain prior to doing my "explosive training" higher than 12% sure but no more than ...? What body fat percentage is too high? If I have too high of a body fat percentage I'm worried I will burn my muscle down before the 10% and below mark. And my 6 pack quest will have to be redone.

HELP from anyone who knows their stuff about dieting and exercise, i go to school so for breakfast i have fat free yogurt and an apple for lunch i have another fruit or vegie for dinner i have a lean chicken burger or anything else with protien like fish, my exercise, during school at lunch (11am) i hit the gym and wieght train for 45min after dinner i do 20-30min of jogging but chaning it to HIIT is this good a program im 5'10 145lbs want to be lean less bodyfat im roun 18 -20%BF HELP PLZ

look this is PLAN SIMPLE....you DONT EAT ENOUGH...if you create a TOO AGREESSIVE calorie deficit you're actually forcing your body to hold onto the body fat to survive....you cannot afford to let yourself hungry and second you need to have the right combination otherwise you're wasting your time

That's not true. 65-70 percent of your physique comes from your diet, and many people who have great physiques train anaerobically with just their body weight. I'm not one of them, but it is possible to develop an impressively lean, athletic physique (not a body builder physique) without weights.

hiit doesn't work for everybody, even with proper nutrition. you can lose body fat and get shredded from doing cardio. it's just the amount of time you do cardio that's important. not too little, not too much. proper timing is key to targeting primarily fat loss and not muscle catabolism.

I have gained a lot of strength and presumably muscle over the past 9 months of weight lifting. What kind of fat percentage thresh hold should I maintain prior to doing my "explosive training" higher than 12% sure but no more than ...? What body fat percentage is too high? If I have too high of a body fat percentage I'm worried I will burn my muscle down before the 10% and below mark. And my 6 pack quest will have to be redone.
