  • was it protein treatment? bc if it's not backed up w/ good deep conditioning your hair will be dry, brittle & hard. stylists don't like it when u think u know something. they're like "i went to school for this, sit bk shut tha f* up & give me my money!" a ? do u go to the stylists all during your stretch? r they the only 1's that wash your hair? bc during a stretch you really have 2 deep condition seriously & i'm talkin serious time & stylists don't have the time/inclination 2 do it!

  • you need to stop relaxing your hair and go natural and you wont have to deal with all these hair dressers

  • That stylist needs to be exposed forget being nice. LOL.Homegirl needs some professionalism and a couple more courses in cosmetology school.

  • @sneakerfreakerchick Yesssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow! $45 for a set!!! Our sets start at $15 and if you'd like treatment its $10 additional. Check out Set N Go Salon in Conyers facebook us if you'd like! Best of Luck in you ladies haircare journey!! Remember "healthy hair then beautiful hair"! :)

  • Girl, boom! you going to give her $5.00 tomorrow, please dont!

  • @chrissyla8706 As a matter of fact, I forgot to get up this morning to even give it to her, LOL. You're right, I'm not giving it to her.

  • This is the reason, I try not go to the shop and get my hair done.

  • BTW I had to deal with alot of stylists like that in N.C, baby! They everywhere:) Luckily when I went to have my ends trimmed at my last salon visit I actually had somebody talk to me as I was explaining my concerns and she actually listened to me as I explained the long term goals for my hair. I told her I was growing my hair out and only wanted a light dusting an she told me how much she'd be taking off as well as actually let me she what she took off before I even paid her.

  • @Angela5388 Yes, I guess they are everywhere. I'm glad you found somebody that listens. That is key, for real!

  • Wow! She on some other stuff wasn't she? Her getting defensive off the jump says alot about what type of long term stylist she'd be. The type that doesnt listen to the client, doesnt include the client in the hairs long term health and basically just wants the almighty dollar. I have always noticed a sheen in your hair despite if you have a fresh black rinse or not. You are so right all hair colors will give off a natural sheen. There is a good thing we know about proper haircare at home. HHJ!

  • damn.....smh

  • @prettyungthang20 I know right, smh.

  • See, that's why I do my own hair! lol! I feel like I can't trust these hairdressers most of the time. I've been living in Atlanta for almost 5 years now and I'm still scared to trust one.

  • @fyvettew I'm sure there are some good ones here but the ones I keep running in to are suspect, lol. Time for me to revert back this other lady and then save some money and do it at home myself every now and then too.
