As you may notice that Wooster is not replacing his ball after the dog steals it and barriers it in the bunker. In this case he should proceed after rule 18-1 witch stats that if a ball in rest is moved by an outside agency, he must replace the ball with no penalty. Since he falls to so its a 2 stoke penalty. I'm sure that Jeeves, as a butler knows this, and will have added the stokes to his score for the hole.
@Holychickendinner -- This is the only place on YouTube where people know how to spell, type, punctuate, use correct grammar, and avoid words that rhyme with "muck".
@KevinByrne2 One finds she has the feeling of an imaginary Jeeves looming over her shoulder, making somewhat disapproving noises if she happens to spell something wrong, and suspects other commenters must feel the same way. Though I must admit I've never been one of those whose IQ drops some 27% when commenting on YouTube anyway.
i loved this show when it was on tv, but .... well that is the question....When WAS it on? I don't remember, and I cannot read the Latin numbers at the end. Can someone tell me which years these series ran from?
The use of mirrors and reflection in this programme is often astoundingly good. Sometimes it's even only just a hand, or partial face - just the salient point!
Like all great media, music and entertainment everything great ended in 1994. Memories of wonderful shows on Tele. From ITV, Classic BBC, the Thames company and more. I remember the kids show the Amazons, wanted a river boat; then it hit me African rivers have crocs and hippos lol. Thanks for posting mate.
I think incredibly highly of this show. I have seen every episode multiple times and in fact my cellphone ring tone is the theme song. What a joy to watch, thanks for posting it.
So funny the talk about Miss Wickham here you would think Wodehouse got the name from Jane Austen as Pride and Prejudice had a 'Wickham' who was just as crafty as this Miss Wickham
this one reminds me of 'Clicking of Cuthbert' which was a hard read as I know nothing of golf. I have played miniputt as good as I get. I wonder if that gadget of Barmy's really still exists anyone know?
At 8:56. the flower covering.. a certain spot, shall we say, on the statue in the garden..these funny side bits are the icing on this silly, silly cake. Can't wait to get to Gussie and his newts..
Hugh Laurie is so unlike House in this role. He is also without the brilliant American accent. I have to say, I like him best as an Englishman though.

That's the thing about classics, they can hook anyone! Also, Fry and Laurie are delightful in all things and particularly well suited to a bit of patter. Add a nice little Westie to the mix and the vortex is complete...
Stephen Fry's acting is just fantastic in this. The amount of sarcasm that drips from every "indeed, sir" has me laughing out loud every time. He somehow manages to squeeze several lines of implied dialogue into those two little words.
Well, maybe, but remember, this is Jeeves. He dominates Bertie so much that he could probably get away with refusing to do something Bertie asked him to do. Actually, he does disobey Bertie several times in the stories- for example, when he is perched on a wardrobe in order to avoid Bartholomew and Bertie suggests that he "make a sudden spring" to subdue the dog. Jeeves flat-out refuses to do this.
I wish I was Hugh Laurie... Imagine being Stephen Fry's best friend. :)
