Thanks cny. I use a Tascam cd-bt mk 2 bass trainer which goes into my computer's sound card then i split 2 identical headphones one for mic pickup the other for monitoring. the bass is an Ibanez SR 300 DX Soundgear

you can also get an extra light set in roto's. RS66LA's 30-50-65-85. I should get a set of those

this set is a medium gauge Rotosound set. 40-60-75-95. I can't remember but I was certain the main piece of paper said RS66LD, but I'm looking at a set right now in that gauge and it says RS66LC. I know the E is 95. I bought 2 sets to make 1 set for the Warwick, as I had bought some DR's and 125 is hell on the fingers. DR's are the only other string that sound killer as far as roundwounds go.

Dude I just watched this again. FRIGGEN amazing. You have some serious dexterity for the part from 1:30 onwards. Man awesome. You seriously are my idol. =) Now, what size strings do you use on this bass. My problem is for the Tool I use .45, .65, .85, .110.
