TRITTON AX Pro Setup For PS3

Maybe you could help me out, I have all the settings you have but when i start up BF3 the Dolby Digital light turns itself off and i have no sound. If i tick DTS instead i have sound when starting up BF3 but it's very hollow like i'm shooting in an open hangar. I also checked the ingame settings and these were set correctly as well. What is going wrong here?

@xTheMuhamed2222 Double check all connections, as something could be in the wrong place or faulty. Next, the PS3 sound settings and audio device settings should be in the right place for the Tritton. Finally, make sure that all volumes on the decoder box & volume control are turned on / up.

I'm using 5.1 speakers, which are connected to my PS3 by the RCA Cable (Because I'm using a Monitor), so if I was to get this headset would I have to switch the Audio Output Settings back and forward from the Speakers to the Headset? Or is there anyway around this?

@xTHExSTiG The PS3 has an audio multi output option that will pass audio over all channels at the same time (opitcal, hdmi and input connector). If this is turned on then you will not have to switch all the time.

@awesomekid5436 Go to your Sound settings on the PS3 and enable 'Audio Multi Output". I'll be uploading a video about how to do this soon.

@SuitableKiller I suggest trying to do it a different way. Dedicated mics or a Skype call are good alternatives. It is not possible to record your voice on a PVR.

@SpendingWages The volume on my tritons simply does not work, all the lights are lit up and everything seems to be normal, the only thing is the optical cable with the delicate heads on it might be damaged due to it not having its protective cover on it while being transported. Hello i got a copple questions,

When u play mw3 must the voice volume and the game volume be all up?

And when u play mw3 must the switches be on td and sur?

When i play like mw3 i can hear some footsteps but not loud enough i already searched on youtube for good settings but nothing seems to help i tried putting all te volumes up but then when a semtex or something blows up next to me my ears hurt so much and i get an headache.

@Wangsta56 Remember that the game is made in such a way that does not give people who use a headset - especially an expensive headset, that much of an advantage over everybody else. All you can really do is make sure that the game audio is all up, voice volume does not matter as much. SUR and TD are the correct switches.

I have an audio problem, when I speak to friends they can here me, but when they speak to me I can't here them. I can only here them very slightly when I turn the power off on the decoder box. I see in a previous comment you said something about sound setting, but where exactly do you mean? For example are they the buttons on the decoder box? @ProMagiczUk Sound settings and audio device settings on the PS3 must be in the right place. This only leaves your connections, is everything pushed in correctly etc? This leaves two more places, 1. the sound settings within MW3 and 2. the AX Pro's settings. Make sure that everything is turned up and nothing is muted. Finally, something could be faulty...

@SimTune If you want ALL sounds to come through the headset that is easy...PS3 sound settings must be on optical digital and in the audio device settings change both input and output to the headset. Hope this helps!

PLEASE ANSWEAR! The Turtle Beach Headset needs a cable that ou plug on your TV, but the Tritton headset doesn't need to be pluged on the TV right? (sorry for the bad english, I'm brazilian) Great video!

@LuccaLopess Thanks man! You are correct, the tutrle beach headset (PX21) can plug into the TV if you wish, the Tritton (AX Pro) on the other hand does not.

@SilverrrGaming I have looked into this and the answer is basically not available. Tritton could not explain to me how this was done. You best bet is to change what you are trying to do… for example if it is a live commentary then Skype or a dedicated mic are good alternatives.

@SpendingWages Im just going to use it to rcord the in game audio. Me and my friends were talking about this at school and our solution is that u put the included Optical Cable in the out optical cable thole in the pvr and buy a new optical cable that u put in the ps3 and in the in hole in the pvr. and remove the Component cables for sound in teh pvr :D

@Mevaricko1o I know it may be a pain but go through things again... make sure everything is connected properly. Otherwise that noise may be because the headset is faulty or has suddenly become damaged.

@dynomyte345 Try a different plug, or the power adapter could be faulty. So long as you have connected it to the decoder correctly, when you press the 'on' button, the lights on the front should light up.

@imMoqq Providing that your settings are in the right place, the PVR should have no problem picking up the voices from other people. The issue is those people and the PVR being able to hear you.

@SpendingWages Yes, I was playing one day talking to my friends and it just had a random buzz and I couldn't hear anything or say anything. But we had a warranty on it and returned it to get a new one

@FlexThatStick That's good. You have to be really careful with these kinds of products because it does not take much for them to go faulty. For example, just look at the pin connections....if you do not line these up perfectly then you will bend them out of place!
