  • what ncap rating did it get, as i actually own one of those

  • @dahorn100011 4. I'd consider buying one, the safety rating is pretty good... Much much better than a citroen saxo...

  • Das Auto!

  • I wouldn't like to be in that in a crash, The bmw E90 is the best

  • the 2000-2002 Volkswagen Polo was assembled in

    Navarra, Spain

    Martorell, Spain

    Bratislava, Slovakia

  • nice slideshow

  • thats propper shit mate fack

  • what speed ?

  • 54 km/h

  • @ricochet36 I agree, especially when you consider when the car was made. However, it did look like there was a good deal of head acceleration, but I'm not sure if that would have resulted in whiplash or head injuries.

  • Iv just got one of these for my first car and didn't expect the crash test result to be as good as it was.

  • According to Wikipedia, the 1999 facelift of the Polo includes a stronger chassis/coachwork, which makes it more safe than the pre-facelift versions.

  • Love these cars! Thats why I have one! Feel alot safer now too, especaily comapred to a saxo!

  • yes i love this cute lil polo, especcially the new GTI one that got car of the year 2010, but the new fiesta zetec S is great too, it looks awsome aswell, i can't decide, anyone help?

  • I cant help you man! I like the Zetec S's alot too! The selling factor for me would be the engine I guess, although Im still biased towards VW

  • ok, thanks, i think il go for the fiesta, it looks alot nicer. and overall is better. especially handling it is the baby of the best handling hot hatch in the world the focus rs

  • better than chinese shit

  • i got one of those 2000 (i got a 2001) polo 6n2 but i think, to be honest, it looks "okay" if you think about a 9 years old car, it looks survivable^^

  • my motÌer's polo cagÌt fire too, tÌanks to an amulance beÌind Ìer, tÌe fire Ìas been stopped. (excuse me, my crappy macbook Ìas keyboard issues)

  • no i think you will find that hyundai and chevrolet are bad in crashes

  • hmm, not bad, although my polo dont hav any air bags

  • how old is yours?

  • How many km/r does the car have when it crashes?

  • 64km/h

  • I had one that caught fire when I was driving out of a car park -.- Had to be extinguished using the fire extinguisher of a friendly taxi driver nearby and then, after firetrucks had checked it was safe, it was taken away.

  • what has that got to do with how it would cope with a crash?

  • I'm just saying. Don't take it so personally. Gosh.

  • looked pretty comfy

  • anione now the ncap rating for this car as i have one and i dont now it thanks

  • go to the euro ncap site. ;)
