The motor is 500W but the actual power consumption is typically below 200W. With a 1kg lithium polyer battery, the range is estimated to be about 30km on hard road surface.
Very sharp observation. It is two scooters, chopped and joined back to back, then change one steering handle to a seat. This is DIY. Now it is 8kg and I need to add a pedal generator and a 50W alcohol fuel cell. There are some subtle points like tilting the handle to bring it closer to the driver and boosting current of motor at low speed for speedy start.
this is a good original DiY attempt...lower your aspirations...nobody's going to give you a nobel laureate :D
