Vick is the worst possible QB to play in a west coast offense (highest completion % 56.3 in 7 seasons), Kolb had a 64.6 completion % in his first two starts. And even if he does throw picks that doesn't mean he can't win. Pretty sure that #4 guy on the Vikings has thrown a lot of picks...

It's something that is key for a WC QB and it's something Vick and McNabb don't do very well. He's slowing down.

Accuracy can be taught to a QB speed and instincts can't. Vick can make time for himself and make correct decisions the quicker Kolb releases the ball the less time he spends making decisions which results in picks.

His first two games were against the Ravens and Browns in 2008, and he threw an interception that was taken back for a touchdown in both games. @Troll4MoarLulz McNabb also started both those games. Andy Reid gives his starting QB almost all of the practice snaps during the week. Kolb came into the games with minimal preparation and a gameplan centered around a different style of QB. I'd say the games where he was prepared to be the starter, as he will be now because he is the starter, are a better indication of how he will perform.

Vick is the worst possible QB to play in a west coast offense (highest completion % 56.3 in 7 seasons), Kolb had a 64.6 completion % in his first two starts. And even if he does throw picks that doesn't mean he can't win. Pretty sure that #4 guy on the Vikings has thrown a lot of picks...

There's a possibility that Kolb won't play as well as he did in his first two starts. There's a much better chance that a QB who relied solely on athleticism, who is turning 30, and had a 2 year hiadus will be on the decline than a young guy who fits the offensive system perfectly. It's something that is key for a WC QB and it's something Vick and McNabb don't do very well. I'd rather have Kolb his Jackson on a quick slant in the face of a blitz than have Vick running around in the backfield and maybe gain yards. Don't forget, the rules of aging apply to Vick too. He's slowing down.

Accuracy can be taught to a QB speed and instincts can't. Vick can make time for himself and make correct decisions the quicker Kolb releases the ball the less time he spends making decisions which results in picks.

Kolb came into the games with minimal preparation and a gameplan centered around a different style of QB. I'd say the games where he was prepared to be the starter, as he will be now because he is the starter, are a better indication of how he will perform.
