how about you just fill a pot with dirt and put some ants in it? (of course make it so the ants cant get trought)

Oh there are so many faults in this. I made mine much more stylish by using the CD as the base, the glowy side up. And on the top I used a door thingie in the place where you put the dirt in.

In the end it looked amazing. Now to hunt some ants... ._.

@kaioh6 ants life for around 90 days and before making this temporary home first make a permanent colony with a queen and every 60 days add more ants to this temporary colony by baiting them form the big colony with a cookie crumb

Yes, plaster is a potential option. Figuring out how to get the plaster situated just right may be kind of tricky and may require some experimentation, but it will also make for a nicer farm in the long term.

go to the nearest forrest you could find.

then search for a Ant hole.

then dig up the ant hole.

wait some minutes

then go find the biggest ant you'll see.

get that ant and take some other ants with you in a plastic box or something =D

i have nearly finished mine,

i will post an update if you want IFTTS successful,

you can though expand the case further if you think the ants need more room,

to do this simply add another hole on the main case level with the dirt and link the hole to another case what ever one suits you and connect it with a straw or plastic pipe, then let the ants decide if they want some more space

very easy and easy to upgrade in my view
