This was a good movie. By far the best Roger Moore movie. But it's still saddled with Moore's lightweight campiness and the fact that he was too old to be playing Bond.

This should have been Timothy Dalton's first movie. The down to earth Cold War story would have fit Dalton, tight lipped ultra serious demeanor much better.

People who think that Moore was a good James Bond have never read the books. He wasn't even close.
