i think marty friedman style is harder to play than kirk hammett.I love the way marty is so melodic.saying that kirk has good moments ride the lightning solo is a killer.

@chromaticking Comparing Marty to Kirk??!?!? HAHAH. K, if Marty is a superior guitarist to Dave Mustaine (which is very debatable, since they're both stronger than one another in different areas. Also, Marty's more melodic and Dave is very aggrassive. Just listen to the solos by them both in Lucretia), and Dave>>>Kirk, then Marty stomps Kirk as well. No question. Kirk stays within his little pentatonic box, 99% of the time. He uses too much wah wah. And he has little to no depth.

@MrHoopla Kirk may love pentatonics, but he certainly has more variety than Dave. If you compare Daves solos, most of them are the same scale down the 12th fret ending in some pull offs. Kirk uses the whole fretboard and the wah is sometimes nice. Dave also plays too dirty, Lucretia is one of his worst solos ever.

@rampage222555 dont try to make music a competition! marty has a very individual technic and musical expression, but his exotic scales wouldnt fit as good as kirks solo with all the great catchy hooks in metallica songs. same with dave.. his solos over kill em okay would be okay, but not on ride the lightning or master. for me marty is the most interesting player of the three, but i also love the perfectly song based catchy soli from kirk.the song is the master, and the solo the slave.

Easiest Megadeth Song/Solo to play on actual guitar is Tornado of souls, but that's probably because i practiced it alot, i could play that with my eyes close no prob,.... metallica is lame, i out grew it, i could still play a couple of their songs... peice of cake

for example, Master of Puppets, One, seek n destroy, Unforgiven,one of thet best metallica songs i can play at least half a song. But when it comes to Megadeth Holy wars for example, its so difficult for me. And im not putting in the Solos only the Riffs.

@Yawgmothmel it generally is because when dave mustaine was fired from mettallica he formed megadeath and said our goal is to be harder and faster than mettallica and they succeded but on a bad note most of megadeaths solo have no rythem or feeling the majority is random shred metallica is more melodic and catchy megadeath is faster and heavyer

Even marty can't replicate it live because of all the differenct newances, slide speeds and stuff

I don't know if you can buy the NTSC version, but if you check out their website (there is a link in the description) you can buy some of the videos to download, and you can check them out for yourself to see exactly what is available. You could even try sending the lick library youtube channel a personal message to find out if it's available in the US.

There are tab books available on our site, though i'm not sure what songs they cover...

The whole point in these video tutorials though, are that you don't need tab to learn them. The tutor (in this case Andy) dissects each song and takes you through each section note for note :)

It means that a PAL DVD will not play on most DVD players in the USA. The USA standard is NTSC where Europe and Asia use the PAL standard. I read they are workarounds using conversion software, but it would be better to offer all their DVD products in both formats.

Due to copyright issues, we're not able to produce all of our DVDs in both formats i'm afraid! :( It tends to be the 'Learn To Play' series that can't be made available in NTSC format...
