you don't need to lower texture quality. It has a minimal effect on FPS you can put it on extra and still get 30 FPS.

Half life 2 works well too, Fear 1 works awesome (not under 30 fps)¨Most wanted same 25-30 fps.

So that problem will be somewhere elsewhere.

if you go intel your intel graphics propeties

by right clicking desktop and going to graphics propeties

then click 3d settings

then on force sxt3 or somet like than and the other once with the number 1 in it at the side make it say yes and click apply you will then get a extra 10-15 fps ingame

I would deffinatly invest in some more RAM, but even still it won't be comparable to playing it on a proper gaming rig. Fine for a bit of mobile gaming though.

I've turned everything to low, and lowest resolution. In urban and in-door areas it runs smoothly with approx 30 fps. But out-door in the woods or similar it runs with max 15 fps.

you won't loose much speed if you push up the details a bit more.

use depth of field and put things on medium in 800x600, the 965 won't die on you.

you can enable bullet holes and such, it will run smoothly even with those (or if it slows then, switch things off, then back).

yes but your integrated graphics card is the older gen of integrated gpus so follow pquarme's videos and use all the programs he suggested and upgrade the RAM to max and install windows 7, also once you started your game up press ctrl alt del and bring up task manager, go to processes and then find the game process and right click it, put your cursor on the priority setting and set it to high, NOT REALTIME THAT WILL CRASH YOUR SYSTEM, and you should have a HUGE improvement, try playing around

playing with the config, turn off anti aliasing as that takes A LOT of memory and integrated GPUs cannot handle that.
