After watching this I have a renewed hope in humanity. To see that her parent's still love her and wouldn't want to change her is fascinating to me. When I see how much love her younger sister has for her, it gives me chills. No judgement is passed, just unadulterated love.

Personally I feel sorry for this girl. All of her complications early on hurts my heart, but I know that God would never let a child suffer for no reason. She has to exist in the way she does for a very great purpose.

So, she's not producing human growth hormone at the very least. Issue likely in the endocrine system. Indeed some kind of issue with brain function - NOT in her genes.

that's stupid. lack of growth hormone doesn't result in not aging. lack of growth hormone can also be treated.

do you think your so smart? that you can diagnose her from just watching a video while world known experts spent years trying all these tests on her and are unable to find a clue on whats causing this.

@VanillaMagic3 I never offered a diagnosis and certainly wouldn't based on a video. But without any growth and hormonal development occuring, we can isolate certain systems where the abnormality originates. To say she's "not aging" is stupid my friend, everyone is aging. To put it succinctly, she's not growing, and not developing. I assure you, she's aging.  These rare cases actually get little attention in the medical world, we're looking for the cure for cancer, AIDS, and the common cold.
