Please Please answer is the quality of the image you see through the eye piece the same or better than the image quality that you take with the camera
@FsimulatorX Quality of final images are better than you see through scope by eyes. On final images (which collected light for 2-4 minutes of video) you can see details which you not able to see by eyes. Clear skies.
@shermanwray I didn't test 5SE, I have just 4SE. But I think that 5SE can get even better results and extra weight is not a problem. Better ask somebody who has 5SE on astronomyforum
Cool project! and if you want to trigger shutter wirelessly, you can use this device to remotly shoot long exposures with any camera: ASTRUS : astrus.bymac.org
@gulchen123 $499- $100(Coupon rebate) - $100 (deal for package with additional optics: eyepieces and filters; battery, power cord) = 299 just scope. Totally for scope and accessories I paid about 500. For last year I saw that such deals Celestron did 2-3 time. This was very good start point. And latter I started to buy additional staff.
You are very lucky in US. Bought NexStar 4 SE for myself just few hours ago. Costed me 4 795 Swedish krone (737 US dollar) and that was after discount! Now I have to buy all the extra stuff aswell.
do u have to have a specific camera for this? and can u make some kind of tutorial on how to set up a 4se with ur camera and computer, it would be greatly appreciated im having trouble :/
@aerodynamic3794 Thanks. Yes I can see deep sky objects (DSO). Photo of the Comet is example of photo of DSO. But for better photos of DSO I need good dark sky. For such big light pollution in NY one photo duration should be less 30 seconds. I will try it soon this summer when will be able to make photos from dark place.

Your display was excellent! Question: what is the name of the cord or adapter you use to convert or transpose the images from your Celestron to your Laptop?

@movieking88 I did not try use Macintosh for astrophotography. I believe you can use it. Ask you question on astronomyforum net Somebody answer you better than me what soft you need for mac. I hope it helps.
So confused how you did all this. I own a Advanced Series Celestron (9.25) and not only can I not even find the sun to view, but have no where near as good a view of Jupiter. Seems impossible. What magic are you using?
@jaidemm Short answer is technology. As far as Jupiter photos, see my first video where I tried to show all steps how I did it. For Jupiter photos main keywords are NexImage (or other CCD) and RegiStax. Using your Celestron (9.25) you are able get much more better images than I am with 4 inches telescope in New York (which has very big light pollution). I hope it helps. (I saw your video and I hope you already fixed your problem with GOTO alignment).
GETTING IT NOW!!!!!... maybe i dunno

Great video. Does your Celestron SE5 able to slew with all the extra weight attached to it? Does it accurately track?

buija1 6 months ago
@buija1 Usualmente por $499 es el telescópio solamente, pero a veces, existen ofertas que obitenes todo el paquete y es más barato.
