Thank you for uploading. The quality is in need of improvement though - sound and vision. As for the film, I am hugely disappointed at how unfaithful it is to the plot and spirit of the book, but it was made a while ago in Hollywood, in a civilization that felt compelled to sell its own dreams and truths, I guess. To all interested in the full story, I highly recommend Mika Waltari's original novel!

Respond to this video... I had read the book when I was 13, and did come from a medical family. I followed Sinuhue's path as his father stated (paraphrase) even kings must bow down before doctors. Everyone is in need when ill, equally. I wish the film had been better, but for Hollywood, the look of the 18th dynasty was rather good. T hat was what I liked, Edmund Purdom, God Rest your soul, you were a damned fine actor!

was truly meant to be pharaoh. Tough and brilliant acting!
