  • I'm going to kill 0 pe... oh, well :)

  • This was Elton John

  • Tutti-Frutti !!! Hahaha! CRAZY ELTON :)))

  • Elton on Piano and Ringo on drums...cool! Then the coolest children of the revolution video! Enjoy!

  • Ringo was a horrendous drummer! No real talent, not much flare and as one of his fellow beatles once said "I don't even think Ringo's the best drummer in the beatles"

  • @spikeman14 I respect your opinion, still Ringo is one of my absolute favourite drummers. Just listen to "She Said, She Said".

Second of all, John said "He isn't even the best drummer in The Beatles!" but he was joking. He then said that he's a great drummer with an amazing feel and a damn good drummer. And there's many other drummers that think he's a great drummer, Phil Collins, Steve Smith, Mike Portnoy, Daney Carey, Max Wienberg, Dave Grohl and so on. So if anything, he was inspirational.

  • From 'Born to Boogie' Apple Film

  • Genial

  • this is a very good version of T-Rex's classic - love the simplicity of it.

  • My favourite rock drummer ever,was Ringo Starr,simple,solid,no frills,not too loud + a great personality......Perfect..

  • @onlyjoetee Ringo is also my favourite drummer. He was a master of subtlety. But he could also be flashy when it was required.

  • @Xmenfan246 for me he's perfect rock and roll drummer, even down to his personality.Rock and roll doesn't require flashy stuff from a drummer.Listen to his playing on that plastic ono band album, simple, straight up ,perfect ,great touch..its what he doesn't do thats his credit..

  • That piano player has potential--but he needs to dress in flashier colors.

  • you cannot mean Sir Elton John - he is the campest thing there

  • ABSOLUTELY GREAT!

  • YES! wonderfull...

  • A mellower version of a Rhythm & Blues classic...

  • great performence !

  • Whatever happened to the Zemaitis? been meaning to start asking.... They were a hand built British guitar from the late and well respected Tony Zemaitis.

I don't know if Tony, custom built the guitar in this clip for Marc, or Marc picked it up as a for sale item. Anyone know anything?

  • The Zemaitis was custom- built for Marc. He might have had others because I have a guitar book with a Zemaitis with "as played by Marc Bolan" but it looks different than the one in the video. The book has many errors in it anyway. I'm sure the guitar is owned by a Z collector or is in the Zemaitis museum in Japan. Z collectors are very tight- knit.

  • great bit of info -- thankyou. Ive read the " as played by" a few times here and there , but never anything specific. Perhaps Marc may have had other Zemaitis guitars, but I have only ever seen what appears to be one specific guitar.. notable because of its minimalist engraving.. an unusual feature in itself as all the other Zemaitis have seen are extensively carved.

Keep us inforned if you come across any other insights.. they will be much appreiciated! and thanks again!

  • Marc bolan movie? Johnny depp playing him?

  • Ringo's got a mullet(nearly)....Elton has hair(just)....

    and Marc.....is just perfect!!

    a wizard a true star!
