I'm surprised some of the commentators here could find the date of this 21st century event since, by their comments, it is obvious they are still living in some previous era. Eclipses are not warnings or invitations. They are predictable events. The show would go on whether anyone watched or not -- even if there was no one at all on earth to see it. No, it can't the groups of stars shown in the picture are too far away to be seen by a camera. It can only be seen with strong telescopes such as the Hubble Space Telescope.

We have been given a death sentence for our breaking of the law and Jesus the Son of God came in the flesh and kept the law without ever sinning and then he was punished as a sinner for you and I. This could be a warning that God is about to judge a world that has rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah and is accepting New Age paganism in his place. To avoid over-egging the pudding, it must be said a total lunar eclipse cannot happen other than in synchrony with a full moon. It's physically impossible otherwise. However, coinciding with a solstice is rare, that's true.
