  • nice car love it

  • Where is the steel?

  • 43 people have Hyundai sonata !!!! lol

  • The best seller.... forever and ever.

  • God gave us celery as the landmark for nothingness. Then, Toyota gave us the Camry, and blew celery out of the water.

I don't think its possible for a car to get more boring. It screams, "I DON'T CARE ABOUT MY CAR, THEREFORE I DON'T CARE ABOUT DRIVING."

  • @maseratiquattroport hey hes an auto engineer, its nice to see someone that knows the inner workings for a car talking about a car. Instead of someone else who dont know and talking about the car without an engineers point of view of the design process.

  • same Honda Accord

  • garbage

  • Mr. Jake Fisher is probably consumerreports' worst reviewer. His lack of verbose language, and constant repetitive words such as, 'extremely' and 'very' makes it almost vague to every aspect of his reporting.

  • "Not the most exciting car in the world..." LMAO! You got that right!

  • I just bought a 2012 V6 Sport Edition and I disagree with this nit wit, its a very engaging and fun car to drive and you can take corners doing sixty with very little body lean not to mention the 0-60 time is among the fastest in its class

  • Camrys just keep going. Still have my 1994

  • >stocks in the nav screen

    Why the hell.

  • Toyota cars are contaminated with nuclear radiation including Plutonium-238, 239 and 240 which will increase your risk of cancers, infertility and sperm damage. Japan is still facing an ongoing nuclear radiation crisis and this has spread to surrounding Tokyo, Osaka and Yokohama.

  • @NukedJapaneseToyota Toyota is from Toyota. GM is not from GM, but Detroit

  • @NukedJapaneseToyota what is up with u posting this on mostly every vid...lol

  • Camry does great in the absolute conventional boring dept. Take Corolla and blow it up.

Camry will fade out like BMW and Benz.. let think practical shall we.

  • @Continental082

The previous Camrys were boring as heck.

The only thing I liked about it was that it offered standard projector beam headlights, as well as LED brake lights (2011 models). Which gave it a 'luxury' appeal.

Everything was just boring. Typical Camry boringness.

The new ones however, are still pretty boring. They look like a large Corolla. Which is a huge mistake.

But other than that, the interior is not that bad.

Exterior is boring. PLUS, they dropped the LED brake lights.

  • If you can' tell by my username, I have a 92 Camry and it's just awesome.

  • Best in Class.

  • The new camry is nice, but I don't like the new tail lights. It seems like a step down from the last modelwith some of the small details. The 2011 had automatic power windows for all four windows. The rear head rest doesn't go up either...

  • GEEZ! It looks like an over sized Corolla. Could they make it even uglier?

  • Dangerous Toyota : Unstable Toyota Pickup Problem

  • @TheGangstalouie

The chevy Malibu has the highest fatality rates in the entire industry,

  • Still a jap shit. Chevy Malibu is much better.

  • @TheGangstalouie i'm sorry since when? Japanese cars are notorious for having way better residual values, better MPGs, and lasting longer...now I dislike toyota with a passion because of how they completely jew their consumers and only put quality items in their Lexus' line...but seriously...I've driven the new Malibu...and both it and the Camry drive like old people fuck

  • @akotr3mor what do you seriously expect? neither are drivers cars

  • @TheGangstalouie No, this car is. It will start every day.

  • @landyachtfan79 Pedo in a wheelchair? LOL

  • @TheGangstalouie like your hatred for imports. And no, Chevy Malibu will never be better. Get a Camry and a Malibu, and see which one lasts longer.

  • I've been driving a 2003 Toyota Camry LE V6 for 8 years now, bought it brand new, never had a problem with it, it's smooth and fast and extremely quiet, all I do is fill up the gas tank and do an oil change every few months, that's all, it's a trouble free car that will give you years driving pleasure and peace of mind, no worries!! Do yourself a favour and buy a Camry, you won't regret it because it's light on your pocketbook in terms of NO REPAIRS NECESSARY, LOL!!

  • Seriously?! Best selling car in America and it's "not the most exciting styling"...I guess that means you think everyone else is wrong or they just didn't pay attention to styling when the bough the car. Got Arrogance?

  • @Yeziam12 it's the best selling car in America for one reason, and one reason only...Rental Car Companies. on the Retail side, the Sonata kicks its ass 5 ways from sunday, and the Accord is not too far behind.

  • If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I love my 92 Camry, I can't wait to buy this in 20 years. I'm sure my 92 Camry will be with me to see the day too =)

  • ewwwwwwwwwww toyota makes very ugly cars I'm glad I drive a CTS :D

  • @boywonder0550 I like to see if you would still be driving the same CTS 10 years from now....

  • MotorTrends review Vs the Sonata; you will see that the Camry is faster than the Sonata. More fuel efficient too; I'm sure when the crash test results come back it'll be safer & get off its styling! The front is perfect: it gives you a confident stare when you look it in its eyes. The Sonata is extremely overstyled for a Hyundai, & It has that over-hauled front end that tries to appear angrily, but to me it just looks like it's mad because the Camry's the shit.

  • @3191LR What are you talking about? Are you the bitch from a Toyota dealship? Sonata is extremely over styled? Does the new Camry look like a refridgerator? I can tell you one thing about the new Carmy nonetheless. It's got more class than you for sure.

  • @bsp1148 style is one thing. the way it drives and long term reliability is another, thats where the Camry excels. so u should stfu..

  • @jvrdlc that's why someone who wants a car that actually drives the way a car should, and wants reliability would get an Accord

  • @jvrdlc When you can buy a Skoda Superb why would you go for a camry?

  • Good job..don't screw up a good thing...solid reliable transport, affordable..without looking tacky or ridiculous.

  • the front light of the camry looks like the subaru impreza wrx

  • thats not real wood but some kind of wook like plastic...

  • My sister drove a 1998 camry model and lost control of the car. Then comes a 3 ton truck and hit her on the driver side and she walked away with no injuries. Today I am still driving a camry and it never gave me problems

  • When the 2007 Camry came out it took on a new bolder look, this new model canceled that effort. I love Camries period, but this look is so disappointing I seriously believe Ford will be capturing more of the Toyota market in the future. The design team at Toyota appears to be replaced by Hasbro toy designers.

  • THE SE is a very very nice model

  • Kinda looks like fusion and forte front end nice car though.

  • I wish Toyota could start making manual transmission Camries in the future.

  • @b67717 Um they do. The L comes with a standard Manual.

  • Now, I didn't want to disappoint, but the new Camry has changed throughout the years, Toyota has once again done a great job on the exterior, interior, but the one thing that I don't like about the new Camry is that they don't have it in manual transmission, that counts for all of the 2011-2012 Camries.

  • I didnt like the new camry at first but then i saw the new se and i thought it looked really nice and the interior looked like a huge improvement over the old model

  • This one is a very solid redesign, but the '92-'96 is still EPIC!

  • The previous Camry was nice, the one before that was okay, this one I'm starting to see myself in.

  • I cannot stand the rear end. The taillights are literally identical to the Scion's, except the Toyota has the overhangs on the truck opening. Also, it is Volvo S60 everywhere in the back.

  • @fp3shb Actually, child...The S60 is Camry everywhere. This Camry design has been in the works for 3 years.

  • look so uglyyyy.yyyy.. ... but reliable ...LOL...

  • 0:08 Camry does 0-60 in 2 sec

  • Still the best car on the road. Excellent job Toyota!

  • Happy to see they worked well on this model, the 07-11 models were junk. However, I must say that the rear end looks like a Subaru Outback/Legacy.

  • they solves the "steering wheel vibrate when brake" problems???

  • I kinda like it. and you people STILL bitched about the steering. Get over it.

  • The grill reminds me of the Acura tsx.

  • Never buy a Toyota or other Japanese cars because they have been tainted with a large dose of Fukushima Plutonium-238, 239 and 240 which are highly radioactive with longest half lives of all kinds of radiation. Effects include higher rates of cancer, infertility and sperm damage.

  • ugly

  • I think it's a little more appealing now, especially the SE model.

  • I like the new camry..especially the interior is now much better and looks higher quality than old one..disappointed that they have not changed the exterior much which is kind of strange..overall I will take it

  • that car is going to look extremely dated in a few years. they did absolutely nothing to the exterior, it is still a biggie sixed corrola, wich means nobody will see it and think, "is that the new camry? i gotta have one of those!' they will think "its a car. it is a form of transportation." considering the steady slide in sles the camry as been having for years now and the new cars from ford, chevy and hyundai, this old pos isnt going to be on top for long.

  • it is still an old fart car but hey this niche market is not the trendy crowd.

  • Nice

  • if u like boring... buy one. kia optima seems like alot more car and forte is surely alot more fun. imm all done with toyota since my 3x valve job twice under warranty.

  • A digital and an analog MPG gauge? Couldn't something more useful have gone there? Such as what Honda did with their expanded media display on the Civic.

  • looks nicer then the previous design. still a tad too bland for me though but nonetheless a good car for most!

  • does the LE have the nice dash or just the XLE?

  • Ill def take a ford fusion over this.

  • A bloated, more chiseled corolla with the face of a tsx and a choppy, anonymous rear end. Other than the interior improvements, this is a pretty disappointing redesign.

  • It is what it is, a comfortable and reliable transportation appliance. This will sell well like any Camry.

  • I have a 2000 toyota camry. Went out the other day to check out some new midsize cars. Test drove the new Sonata, Mazda 6, Honda Accord & Kia Optima. Overall, I decided to keep my Camry due to the fact that even though is a year 2000 it drives smoother and the suspension much more comfortable than all those cars I test drove. Also, it only has 50k miles. Now I know why these cars are so popular and is due to the smoothness and unmatched comfort it offers. Maybe I'll upgrade to the new model.

  • Best selling car in American !

  • looks borring

  • at 3:12 I see a red challenger. Can I get that instead???

  • This is a ripped off acura tsx...sad that toyota cant design a good looking car that is sexy and sport...either can honda....hyundai is taking over

  • disgusting in and out

  • I applaud the analog fuel economy gauge. That is the first analog I've seen for this type of measuring and looks very clear. Not a Camry fan, but you have to give credit where credit is due

  • the most reliable way to get from A to B.

  • I don't really like the except for the se trims, which look pretty sharp on the exterior. As for the interior, its much improved though, looks a lot nicer. I think toyota did a good job overall, it looks like they addressed the cheap interior of the previous generation which was very bad, lol.

  • Camry = WIN! :)

Haters = Shut up. Seriously. :l

  • Though it has a leather stitched dash, to me it still looks kinda cheap and boring. The outside is ugly IMO.

If only all camera looked like the SE model of 2010,2011. Now that's a sexy looking car. :D

  • im all for progressive designs, but hell, toyota simply makes some of THEE ugliest cars!

  • 0:27 Its the 2012 civic si sedan!! OMFG!!! :DDD

  • I dont get what ppl are complaining about. It looks WAY better than the malibu, impala, debatably the accord and looks more mean and the interior is beautiful!

    Seriously! Its a family sedan!

  • great review, you guys are worth watching. out of every reviewer from different channels, you guys know what you talking about.

make sense why you guys are engineers.

    anyways good review Jake.

  • It's hard to believe it's a redesign. They really went super conservative.

  • Man this car is UGLY talk about cheap and square looking.

  • good review

  • yuck

  • my dad has a 1988 Camry. It's still running smooth and quiet. The parts cost really low and last really long.

  • i see an acura tsx and subaru impreza in the front...

  • Looks good, I'm not sure I like the tailights now, but there is no denying the Camry is a great car for people who simply want a good n' reliable form of transportation.
