I bought this computer thinking since its an ENTERTAINMENT pc, it should have some pretty awesome specs (in terms of Graphics card adn speakers), but i was dissappointed to find it was an nVidia G105m, with only 512mb of GDDR2 RAM. What a fool i was. but at least mine came with 500gb HDD and 6GB Ram. And it sucks fr gaming, so all I can do is watch futurama on it. wow. $500 gone. to watch something i get on TV. WEEeeeee-... meh.

(NOTE: What's this about 'Design', coz i don't really care about design, rather Specs [eg, RAM, Video RAM and Processor speed and power consumption] and i never mentioned anything about design, so I don't get what you mean by *u must be a girl ...buying a machine on design...*)

@M4C109 ...a girl... just impression. I wanted one too for 550, but soomeone was faster than me. Here in UK you have to pay at least 600 pounds now, comes with ATI, 250GB and 3GB of ram... and in my opinion ATI is better for gaming... or?

@czierwo same here mate. ATI. Great performance, definitely better than the nVidia card. Also has better power consumption/longer battery life. My friends got an ATI laptop, also with 512mb RAM, and it's still better than the nVidia GeForce 105m. If the new HP dv3 is in your budget, you should definitely get it.

@M4C109 got mine today, but run out of mental power in hunting 2310ea, so got 4050ea. i5core, 500gb7200rpm, 5450ATI512MB, 4gbRAM, also traded touch display for fingerprint reader. 700pounds gone, but being with pc is more painful, and since I want also play games a bit there was no way out... :) Windows index 5.1. Runs like honey. I LOVE IT!!! However a lot of bloatware, but after some time will do something with it. will upload...

i have a model similar to this. same color and dragon designs, just no finger scanner, but mine has a 9 cell battery life, i tested it to 7 hrs, i love this computer, i doubt you can get this model or any dv3's anymore, they're being replaced with dm3's, which i dont like much

@raynez i think there must be many different models. mines got 4gb ram and 360gb hardrive with bluetooth, finger scanner and touchscreen, yet currys just got same laptop in with no fingerprint scanner, no bluetooth, 2gb ram and only 250gb hard drive and its more expensive than ewhat i paid for mine
