I need to get ready for cheer team i am really not flexible and it's my first time doing cheer and i want to make an impression so i look professinal. What advice do have for me to get my right splits,heel stretch,bridge,scorpian,and cartwheel in 2 months.
@joejonasandchichi my ballet teacher always says that its bad to hold your breath when stretching and that you should breath through the stretch because then the body weight helps you :)
@laughabletarra Um I don't know what's wrong, but whenever I do the stradel (or however you spell it) my lower back hurts. I'm still really young! Not even in my 20's or even 15's :P For example, when I stretch to the right, my left lower back hurts. When I stretc hto the left, my right lower back hurts. I don't know if you can help, but are there any stretches that help with that?? I REALLY wanna be flexible :)

I don't think it is at all. I am also a guy and I can do left and right splits, and I used to be able to do my middle splits. It's a lot of fun. I can also almost kick my hand when it's straight up.

thanks 4 the tips even tho it's 4 cheerleading it comes in handy 4 martial arts and i like the way u talk in the video and exsplain things bcuz i really felt like i learned like it was 1 on 1 teaching so keep it up !)
you can push yourself, you won't pull a muscle is all the right muscles are warm, I did gymnastic for many years and I was on team and this is my sixth year cheering and we were taught to push ourselfs but I respect how you were taught and how you go about teaching.

just in case anybody doesn't know... nylon and superglue were meant for each other. If you can work with superglue without getting yourself stuck... You can put superglue on a nylon strap and then clamp it to another piece of nylon strap, and let it dry in front of a fan. Superglue should not get wet, but otherwise it should hold perfectly. Good luck and have fun.
