When I treated some pitted scars and pores i used 100% tca as 50% was not effective and I personally wouldnt use a big tooth pick, you need to file it down so that it is as fine as a hair strand as you dont want it to touch the walls of the scar...please research more on acne.org as if done incorrectly it can worsen things. also i pressed in the scar with minimum pressure for 10seconds.

The scabs that formed lasted for 3 weeks. The longer the better the results.
