This helped me alot! We are doing a community wide version of this, with adults and children and everything, and I play Sister Berthe. And the nuns music I have to say was the hardest in the whole show. Latin is quite difficult!

best non movie version i have seen by far. so far everyone has hit the right nots and arent yelling out. this maria is wonderful just one thing ive noticed, the Mother Abbess was the only one wearing the cross for the movie. gosh. shes amazing.

@tlw1950 they don't. The recording equipment is just that good which is great for this video in terms of being able to hear the play but bad for picking up audience noise.

I love the Reverend Mother's singing voice but her acting is pretty flat, in my opinion. whats the age range for the actors? At first this seemed like a high school production but Reverend Mother seems a lot older than that...

One of the nuns (the one trying to hit the top note at the end) was way off - flat and too much vibrato. Sorry, I know it's an amateur production but only being honest. Maria sounds great - nice change from the sometimes too saccharin sound of Julie Andrews.

A Good performance but maybe the pace could be a bit quicker at the start (Not the tempo of the music) just the general pace of movement :)  Well done though!

The nuns are TERRIBLE. Too many soprani and not enough balance  on the bottom. The amen is a hideous!

I totally agree! Those nuns are way out of tune, but it's quite tough to keep them all on tune when singing acapella. I played Sister Margaretta in my school play.
