  • How? how does it make it self? someone explain please!

  • @SHIFTHDProduction Auroras are caused by the collision of energetic charged particles with atoms in the atmosphere

  • It's only gonna get worse Those are not spectacular when the sun throws a monster storm this way this year

  • freakin incredible wow.

  • Beautiful, wonderful...radiation.

  • It looks so surreal :)

  • Beauty can be decieving... Looks like and angel dancing...

  • *Mom, could you please go get my acids?*

  • As a gamer, life's gameplay may be dull, repetitive, unpredictable, and randomly generated. But the graphics are to die for!

  • I am fascinated the wonderful Auora!! .. just amazing. the colours are so pretty!!!

  • Ahh... the better side of Youtube, Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you for using a HD camera!

  • Amazing video! thanks for sharing!!

  • nice work, it's a shame some dummy fired his flash at the 53 second mark though

  • HAARP

  • cool...really awsome..

  • Fantastic! I HATE that I missed this. We need some sort of an Aurora Call Roster here in the Banks! When I lived in the cabin and had only an outhouse, I saw them all the time. Now that I'm in a house... I MISS them more than I see them. THANK YOU for sharing =)) By chance do you post stills somewhere also? Maybe on Flickr?

  • And was that music being emitted from the heart of the aurora?

  • I live in Fairbanks. I never saw this.

  • @zombieslayer411 Then you must not have been looking. :(

  • Beautiful.

  • i saw this in person in Fairbanks it so cool if you visit go to chena hot springs and so how cool they are in person

  • Damn Chemtrails lol

  • Wow! Thanks for sharing that, words cant describe how amazing that is

  • gone viral yeah baby! i knew this would happen, sooner or later; you have made some excellent videos. congrats.

  • Amazing video :-)

  • Pretty much a religious experience. Thank you.

  • INCREDIBLE! Thank you!

  • Nice...Was overcast down here in Delta.

  • I was born is fairbanks in january on the 19!

  • Very nice but I have a question since i've never actually seen one in person(yet). Why is it that you cannot find a video on youtube of the Aurora in real-time. Seems like every video I find is a time-lapse. Is it not visible to the naked eye? I never understood this.

  • @ApexIXMR Since human eyes are extraordinarily sophisticated organs, you can see the northern lights by the naked eyes. However, the actual northern light is too dark to be captured by the normal video camera, except when the aurora breaks up or you use the special camera. This is one reason why there is no (very few) real-time video of aurora. The biggest reason for me is that the time-lapse photography can make the aurora image as a beautiful art.

  • @Micrometeorologist also moves really slowly so to get the nice effect showing its motion time-laps is almost a must. I live in the north and see them almost every year and this was amazing

  • @ApexIXMR I have wondered the same thing. I want to plan a vacation to try to see the northern lights, but wanted to make sure I could get anything out of it.

  • @ApexIXMR Plus it's really slow and is beautiful but much more interesting sped up.

  • oh Beautiful Skydancer, may you and your kind some day be free of the scourge or HAARP

  • This is simply Heavenly, Thank you for posting. It Loks like Angels Dancing.

  • Light blessings ~

  • Stunning!

  • The word ARYa means GREAT so it is perfect that you misspelled January as JanurARY.

Some things are just meant to be.

  • @sputtube Thanks for your witty comment! ;)

  • @sputtube He could have spelled JanuARY correctly (guess it's been corrected now) and it still would have contained the insignificant suffix "-ary".

  • @benbarrow I accidentally left myself logged in to google (and by association youtube) at my in-laws', and my MIL left the original comment...I'll make sure she gets the message, thanks!

  • Why did you add that music? The aurora has its own sound and I would have preferred it to what you chose.

  • I'm from Argentina and I love to see this show in person

  • Gorgeous!! What an amazing sight!

  • I miss you Fairbanks!!!!!!!!! even if its so freaking cold that your nose hairs freeze, the light shows are spectacular :)

  • Beautiful--but you misspelled J a n u a r y :-)

  • @kathyb1953 Oops! Thank you for letting me know!

Since it is impossible to "replace" the movie file in YouTube, unfortunately, I will leave it intact.

    Thanks anyway!! ;)

  • @Micrometeorologist Also misspelled Fairbanks in the intro. (Faribanks). Nice video though.

  • @mathiasreese Ah... you're right. I should be more careful...!
