you know what bhe controlled that bike and brought it down without wrecking. Thats a controlled wheelie in my books. He's a world class racer who is more at home on the bike than any of us are sitting on our couches. Stop criticizing , you would even be able to leave the pit lane on a bike of that caliber
Look at the way the front end lands heavily and gives a tyre squirm and a little headshake - not the landing of a controlled wheelie, but a great save from an imminent flip by an undoubtedly talented (if not arrogant) racer. I was sitting up watching live that night and it freaked me out.
As soon as the bike starts that little waltz step, either the front end has got to come down pronto or you are going to be applying clothing to pavement.

@kahoona002 Dude learn how to wheelie, Chris is 100% right, Biaggi is all hyped up from winning and goes way too far with this wheelie but does very well to recover it.

haha he was probably like "oh crap" when the front end took off. the bike was past its axis falling backwards so he had to have hit the rear brake
