@TheTerraForces Press side THEN b to do homing missiles. press side and b at the same time to do super missiles. Same thing as doing a smash attack over a regular forward a.

I just want to add something. You can cancel the charge animation of Samus laser with a grab.

And, cancel the zair once it has attached to the ledge, by pushing down on the stick. But you need to hace your second jump for that to be useful.

hey dude, cool guide, how do you make ur grapple to hom the edge of the stage when recovering? u know what i mean? for example, if ur falling and u make ur grapple go up where the mere edge is.

too speed up your techniques involving grabs, use the dash grab (hit the direction you want to grab in and grab sam time and you do a dash grab with much less lag if misses and shorter time to grapple opponent) it has the same animation as a dash grab but you didnt run, also it slides you a bit and this doesnt only work with long grabs it works with every1 and will work the best with zzs

Oh and, I have problems doing her Zair from ledge. I press away on the stick then I try jump immeditely up and I try do Zair as quickly as Samus is over the stage but sometimes She just shoots the Zair 2 centimeters out and hits the ground. Help please :)

if the zair barely comes out then that means your too close to the ground when you shoot it which doesn't give the grapple beam enough time to fully extend before you hit the ground. so try using the zair a little earlier. you also could just be jumping too late which makes you not go as high once you get onto the stage

Usually what i try to do while doing zairs, is back up, especially at close range. Dont know if this works, but helps me fully extend and attack.

well its pretty much about the timing of your landing. just dont do it too late, or it will just cancel the missle completely.

This video was really helpful, but there was one thing that i really wanted to know was that, how do you summon a metroid to help you? Because one time i was playing with my cousin and a metroid cam out of no where and started sucking her energy out or something, it was awesome. Do you know how? If you do, can you tell me?

metroids come from assist trophys.

activate an assist trophy, and one might appear! samus cant just "summon" them tho.

I didn't know so many things could be done with the missles. Ya know a funny thing? like Samus, my best character (Diddy Kong) was barely even used by me, in fact it was avoided. But then i saw a vid like this and i tried him out. Now he's my best character, so maybe i should try it with Samus too...

In melee, I don't know how... but I did like consecutive bombs, like 4+ in a row one right after another. I was goofing of in Training Mode with Samus and Bowser, layed a bomb, and just kept pressing B and I got bowser pretty high in the air.

yeah that only works in melee. cause in melee samus' bombs explode on impact. in brawl they have a time required until they explode

yes. in many ways. missiles, bombs, zair(for recovery, it actually got buffed for use in a fight) and power, especially power. her missiles are weaker, her blast is weaker, most of her aerials are weaker, and her down smash and tilt got a bit weaker

Love your Samus videos. I'm a Samus player and it takes a lot of practice to get good with her in Brawl, she was so much better in Melee, now she's a low-tier character.

One thing I do, is play Special Brawl, fast mode, for a long time, longer the better, then face your friends in normal speed, the whole game seems super slow once you've gotten used to seeing it in fast, and you become more accurate. Don't let your friends watch the Fast Brawl though because their eyes will get used to it too.

Yea. I suck at using it anyway(can make about 1/10 in zoom and 1/4 speed) so unless i find a video that shows all the frames(if it would exist in brawl)i wouldn't have a clue when too even try use it :P

i got a good and hard tecnic its caled triple blast use 2 missiles and 1 charge beam at full charge. finish the combo with a max damege of 34. it all depends on  you,r ime

these are really good but difficult. for the defensive missle part around 2:40, i think it might be a good idea to use your grapple instead of screw attack. i don't know, i just use it most of the time to recover instead of screw attack.

I would've love to see more effective finishers.. I get my friends 3D to 300% but I lack a good finisher =/ But I use to ghet him with - shorthop, zari then a charged B while he's stunned =) know any more finishers?

Samuss' Zair (sex kick) is so good in close quarters beacuse it has very high priorety, meaning if opponant uses an attack with less priorety the attack will fail and samus will hit them with the kick.

the longer the leg stays out the lower the priorety gill be!

Also Peach's Final Smash is good imo. :P Does a bit of damage and can recover you lots, not to mention all of the opponents are easy targets. I sometimes play with items with friends and such.
