i loved my consolidation when i had it. i had one of the last of the greenies of southern 722 ufortunately one day it broke and has been scrapped

Is that loco dcc ready via the conectros between the tender and loco?

@2124reading from what i seen at the store in my town it is DCC ready but not included but it does i think have a built in smoker so tender provides power to the engine

@DeathTripp666 bachmann makes a dcc ready VERSION of the locomotive included but the loco you get in this set isn't dcc. The tender-loco connector is for lights on the tender

@TrackMaster555 i didn't say it was DCC i said it was DCC ready meaning it is ready for the chip you just have to plug n play or so i think it was as i have the DCC Version of this train but mine is up and doesn't have the smoker

@DeathTripp666 dcc and dcc ready basically mean the same thing and if it was dcc ready then it would have to have a digitrax quick plug which bachmann locomotives do not. Bachmann's engines are either dcc or dc. there is no dcc ready with bachmann so no this locomotive is not dcc ready. the version you have of this 2-8-0 was already dcc fitted

@TrackMaster555 nope its a 0-6-0 switcher check my video of it is DCC E-Z Command but as i orginally said i think it is DCC ready but i could be wrong and you are saying i am wrong so i apologize on that other then that the tender provides power for the engine for the smoker and light
