  • sounds really good. i have a '62 corvette with the exhaust piping that runs through the frame. it will need to be redone one of these days and i imagine it will be spendy.

  • that car makes me horny

  • my uncle has a 66 427, 435 horse. nicest sound out of a car at idle ever.

  • i jizzed a little...

  • is it a good thing to put small cams in it?

  • Yes and no, with a high power naturally aspirated setup, you're going to want as much valve overlap and duration as possible, since air is not being forced in, such as with a turbocharged application.

Higher duration cams usually sacrifice a lot of bottom end torque, and driveability, most hot rodders like them for the sound.

With a turbocharged engine, you don't need as much intake duration, so for max efficiency, you'd want a small cam, since the air is being forced in the intake valve.

  • hey man where did you buy those sidepipes?? how much do they cost? please tell me

  • they were on the vette when we bought it. I dont think they are original.

  • Look up Paragon Corvettes, or Long Island Corvettes

  • Insane. I wish my c5 sounded like this :)

  • yeah me too!

  • That's my kind of leaf blower!!

  • God this car sounds good.

  • very nice vette, i have the same car with side pipes in laguna blue, the side pipes make a hell of a difference

  • Nice Vette! Are you running the 2",or 2 1/2" manifolds? Are the side pipes original or newer aftermarket? Sound good keep that classic Chevy running.

  • Thanx! Im running the 2 1/2" manifolds with newer after market pipes.
