Did you wait until it was healed to start flipping it up???? because i have other piercings nd as you should know they are real tender wen you 1st get them and hard to move around such as the tongue,lip,and eye brow piercings.

@JELLYFYE10 It it really tender when you first pierce it, and it does feel a little uncomfortable to flip up because it hurts a bit, and then it gets comfortable inside your nose- you're actually SUPPOSED to keep your septum flipped up while it's healing and for the first month after piercing because it lets it heal better and faster. :)

"somethings are best left to the professionals" is a good statement for septum piercings. Although I did do mine myself because there were no piercing shops that specified in septum rings(this was about a year ago) Call your local piercing shops and just ask what they specify in. They will typically say"well what are you looking to get". Most tattoo shops do not have trained septum piercers and if they are a good shop they will flat out tell you that they do not have a specific septum piercer.

Your septum piercing looks really cute! I got mine done about 10 weeks ago. I LOVE this piercing. So easy to hide and it looks really nice with a proportionate ring. I'm having trouble finding one in the right gauge for mine lol but I'll find one. I digress, cheers :o)

Excellent video. kudos to you for doing it yourself i had it done about 8 weeks ago and same problem as you too far back and very crooked so and whatever way it was done hurt like crap. Bear in mind its not my first piercing so not freaked out by pain so going back to my normal piercer which i should have done in the first place and get it redone

Hey, how long do you have to wait before your flip it up? And if you leave it flipped up for too long will it heal like that? I'm thinking of getting it done, but I don't think my work would be too happy with it ^_^; But i only work two days a week so I wouldn't want to wear it up muuuch. But I don't want to irritate it by twisting it about cos I've been told that you shouldn't twist piercings?
