LOVED Garden when they were around. I saw them dozens of times in Tokyo when I lived there starting in the late 90s. Actually, they were heavy make-up and enamel wear at first just like typical Matina bands. Then they cut their hair and well... you get this. The music still moves me as much as it did the first time I heard them.
What are you talking about o_O The bassist isn't KISAKI. His GARDEN was active around 1994/1995 and this is a Matina band from 2000-2002. They were signed to his label but he didn't played for them. The bassist is Hazuki (not really known since he played only in one band besides GARDEN).
Kisaki was in a different Garden. This Garden came out after Kisaki's band did and they named themselves Garden as a dedication to Kisaki's former band. e_e;
my guess is that they pump out good songs and then they leave to pump out good songs with a new combination,while in the US the same lineup pumps out as many songs from the same lineup and eventually their material gets stale or the sound changes,this is just a theory

this sounds so under code that youd think kisaki took a lotta influence from this band
xdeadxtreex 3 years ago
That's because Garden was a band from the Matina record label. Which was owned/produced by Kisaki.
