i only went to get a card reading once, the guy would read the card and tell me a little bit about it and randomly he would tell me stuff about my future its been 3 months and the very last thing he told me about came true so i had this question.. what is it that you connect to while your reading cards? because i feel like its more than just the cards themselves but an energy that told him about my future do alot of card readers do this or was it only this guy i went 2?

I thought it was brilliant and very well put together, tying in the astrology with some angles I haven't heard yet regarding the cards. I like his depth of background command of detail regarding larger subject areas outside of tarot.

ive ben trying to read tarot for about a year nowbut i dont know alot i never convertid cards ment anything difrent the book that i got dusent say anything about that how can i tell what they meen and how can i see if someone is good for me thru that cards cuz i seen a show and there was a lady reading 4 guys for a girl and she culd tell who was best for here so i wuld like to do that. i got alot mor quwstins so if any one can help me that wuld be gratly appreciated

there are ALOT of books . but i use poker cards or spanish cards . i give them my own special meanings,,,,i see a card and what i feel for that card is what i will write on them hope this helps

You are right. That is exactly the idea of Tarot: giving symbolic meanings to the cards and interpret the meaning of a random spread. The *interpretation* of the Tarot, or any other symbolic and random system, is the aim of the reading, more to giving insights than divination or any other supernatural stuff.

Then why am I holding a booklet in my hand from US Games with instructions on using the cards as a game? Secondly, Tarot readers aren't spreading "bullshit". If a client asked me about the cards I would explain to them how they originated. I also use ORACLE cards that aren't based on Tarot at all for divination. If Tarot was later found to be a divination tool as well, why does that matter to you? Play your games with them and leave others to do what they want.

I just don't get why you're so obsessed with what people do with their personal belongings. I have read Tarot for years and have never "braindwashed" anyone thanks. Most people KNOW you can also use the cards as a game if you want to. There are instructions in a lot of decks by US GAMES as to how to use them as a game also. People DO think for themselves, and if they want to use the cards for divination and they spend the money on the cards, they can do what they want with them.

I love the German suits so much! When I make my own deck (a deck devoted to the trick-taking card game NOT fortune-telling) I think I'll use those. Leaves, Acorns, Bells, and Hearts!

Also, I thought it would be interesting amidst the royalty cards to give the Queen the position over the King (Queen being worth more points that way)... same with a Princess (instead of page) stronger than the Knight! Might take some getting used to for players... but still... I like the feminine focus that way!

So I've been studying more and more. These videos aren't the best way to start off from point zero, if you're learning tarot. I advise learning it Comfortably (somewhere else), then coming back here reflecting on what this Man says, because it's very astute, and complete; looking back on what I've learned these past weeks, what this guy says now is like a cherry on top. study study study study study. thanks again. i love the clearity of this so much. it allows me to figure out how it works for me, knowing the spiritual essense, as related to astrology, which i already study, numbers, which i will learn more, and this new thing to me -- tarot, which contains seeds of the tree of life. i'm learning everything until moving ahead to the next video.
