Based on his answer, which is of the level of a child instead of an academic. Ancient people used to be Sun worshipers. Thats all they did was worship the Sun and the stars. Ancient Surairans has tablets with the Sun and 9 planets rotating around it. They even goth the Size of the planets right and the Tablets are 10,000 years old. So it's not like this information was unknown . It was know thousands of years before Mohammed was born.

As an open-minded atheist, i find Zakir Naik singularly unconvincing.

All this science stuff in the Quran is either in very vague language, to be interpreted as you please, or is stuff that the greeks or romans already knew (like reflected moonlight, for example).
