They should make a book 4, so long as they leave the kid stuff in the past and bring in some more adult themes. I.E. the attraction katara and zuko have for each other. If zuko is married and katara is with ang then it's eather going to be very gripping, or very funny. Both would be good. Also, I don't know a fan boy alive that doesn't want to see the adult toph in charge of the earth kingdom, do you???
@cloneadventurer Avatar: The Last Airbender is not an asian anime. Animes are made in Japan, while Avatar was made in the U.S. It's an American animation or just a cartoon inspired by anime.

They made a big deal about killing the king, but think about all those ang has killed in battle before. If it's made for kids there shouldn't be a hypocritical message. The fact that it takes place 70 years in the future is a much better than continuing the series, right where we left off, because there would be no conflict if they did. Now we'll find out if Aang and Katara's son can bend both air and water, or if they can just bend one of their parents elements. I'm guessing he'll just be a airbender, like his dad.
People still commenting on this video, Legend of Korra is coming out soon. Even so, why would they release a new season years after the rest? And even then, the books were based around Aang being taught, Earth being him learning Earth Bending. What, do you want him to re learn air?

Dude people really need to let it go with this Book 4 nonsense go listen to the commentaries on the DVD's for the last episodes, they give their reasons for not doing a book 4. They are legitimate points, and they even said that they had ideas about the era before the avatar! so be excited for that, aang's story is over now get over it!
I think what the fans would like is ONE last adventure with the original characters. Whether it be in the form of a Nick movie or a mini series,( maybe when Korra's is done?). Anyways, something short where they can have ONE last adventure as Team avatar and tie up any loose ends.
I mean c'mon! They gave 3 mins for the ending, and, frankly, had to rush it. So questions like, "Where's Zuko's mom, and what happened to different character's, weren't answered.
FUCKING DITTO'd, they need to do this. I mean, the ending just had a little too much ambiguity in it. We've grown attached to the new characters and now we have to let them go without knowing how there future develops.
Who knows if they won't show the post-war stuff in the new miniseries Legend of Korra?

@JennyXxXRea, they say that some of the gang is still around and help Korra. im guessing that Toph is the one they saying will be around since she was the youngest one. and in the third book she asked Aang if he really believed that friendships could be strong enough to transcend lives. So i think that we will see Toph.
are you sure that you want a book 4 concerning the gaang...since it ended in a good tone, we will always have the memories of the good times, a perfect memory, and you never know, it may turn out as bad as the movie...just my opinion
what if thay make an "AIR" season, thats about ang looks for other air benders, and he recives a letter from the white lotus or somthing about there being a secret undergroun air temple or city. i think that will be a great 4th season, and then they can tie up all the loose ends they left, like is katara geting with ang or zukko. and i want toph( tofh howerver u spell it) to become King/Qween over the earth kingdom. these are just a few thoughts.
They are making a book 4. But it is going to be titled "Avatar: The Legend Of Korra". It is supposedly going to take place 100 years after "Avatar: The last Airbender"'s Show. There is little known about it, except that Nickalodean is in production of it now. Idk if Im excited, cuz I feel that they may take it way too far. and if its 100 years after, wouldnt that mean Aang and the Gang are all dead? I dont know what to think. But it has the same creators so it might be awesome!

@Samaria1247 I don't think everyone else is dead. If they were like 15 at the end of sozin's comet, and it's 70-75 years later, they're like 85-90 and remember that old crazy earth bender (forgot his name) he was like....111. so I think it's just aang that passed away.

@JennyXxXRea It will only take place 70 yrs after instead of an 100. Korra is a teenage waterbending girl and the new Avatar after Aang dies. So only Aang will be died. Probably the rest of the gang would be too. Even if it was 100 yrs after Aang defeated Ozai, the gang could still be alive. People can live to be 150 in the Avatar world. Avatar Kyoshi live to be 230. Aang/Katara's son will be in it and teach Korra airbending. It will come out sometime in 2011. I can't wait that long.

AAng son teaches her airbending. The last and only element she need to kno. they did say that some episodes will catch us up on some of our past characters.

Fans don't really seem to understand the meaning on what Book 4 can really be about.. Book 4 would not only give us those unanswered questions like the whereabouts of Zuko's mother or Azula's imprisonment. I see it as offering a glimpse of the Avatar world after the war. A new beginning in making peace and rebuilding the nations. A closer look into other character's past like Iroh and Ozai. I'm just saying...We as fans need to be more precised in what we want then maybe we'll get a new season

season 7: ozai escapes (no room left + just ideas)
Since the release of the movie the producers are trying to convert the characters in to white. Hence, a difficult transition.
Why must they change things? Because a world savior other then a white male is taboo in the mass media, and Avatar has gotten too big to be ignored by the Hollywood gate keepers.
There has to be a book four! Seriously how can it be over yet. I mean there still are a whole lot of problems in the world. Like how there are still a whole amount of fire colonies in the earth kingdom. If they have to go back that would displace huge amounts of people. Not to mention that with 100 years of war prejudices and hatreds are still going to be there so some people won't want to just stop fighting. And also what became of Azula? And what of Zuko's mom? @meeluvsu12 counting dragonball, dbz and gt, the have had well over 300 episodes. Pokemon has had like 10000000. lol just joking but alot. Avatar the last airbender only had 61 episodes,they need to extend it. Im not saying let it be like pokemon, where they have a new series every week, but lets have enough so there are many episodes of choice and entertainment. Instead of choosing from 60 episodes, we could choose from 100.

Avatar was great journey, which ended when the war among the nations ended. Conflicts between and within characters have already been resolved. There is nothing else significant that should be added IMO.

One (minor) problem, the voice actors of Aang and Toph. Both of them were pretty close to the age of their characters. With puberty and voice changing and all of that lovely stuff, it'd be sort of tricky to continue right at the same place, with the two still twelve. Jessie could probably pull it off, but Zach? I don't think so. Maybe if they went ahead a couple years in the future, though...
make the season 4 of when they grew a little older, and zuko after searching alone for his mother can't find her, eventually comes to aang for help but his sister escapes and causes trouble for him..yes i thought this through

Dude people really need to let it go with this Book 4 nonsense go listen to the commentaries on the DVD's for the last episodes, they give their reasons for not doing a book 4. They are legitimate points, and they even said that they had ideas about the era before the avatar! so be excited for that, aang's story is over now get over it!

I think what the fans would like is ONE last adventure with the original characters. Whether it be in the form of a Nick movie or a mini series,( maybe when Korra's is done?). Anyways, something short where they can have ONE last adventure as Team avatar and tie up any loose ends.
I mean c'mon! They gave 3 mins for the ending, and, frankly, had to rush it. So questions like, "Where's Zuko's mom, and what happened to different character's, weren't answered.

@JennyXxXRea, they say that some of the gang is still around and help Korra. im guessing that Toph is the one they saying will be around since she was the youngest one. and in the third book she asked Aang if he really believed that friendships could be strong enough to transcend lives. So i think that we will see Toph.

what if thay make an "AIR" season, thats about ang looks for other air benders, and he recives a letter from the white lotus or somthing about there being a secret undergroun air temple or city. i think that will be a great 4th season, and then they can tie up all the loose ends they left, like is katara geting with ang or zukko. and i want toph( tofh howerver u spell it) to become King/Qween over the earth kingdom. these are just a few thoughts.

They are making a book 4. But it is going to be titled "Avatar: The Legend Of Korra". It is supposedly going to take place 100 years after "Avatar: The last Airbender"'s Show. There is little known about it, except that Nickalodean is in production of it now. Idk if Im excited, cuz I feel that they may take it way too far. and if its 100 years after, wouldnt that mean Aang and the Gang are all dead? I dont know what to think. But it has the same creators so it might be awesome!

Korra is a Water Tribe Avatar who the creators say will be "hotheaded, independent, and ready to take on the world". She has already mastered the elements of Water, Earth, and Fire. She needs to master Air, taking her to Republic City, a steampunk metropolis city plagued by crime. With the help of her airbending master, Tenzin - son of Avatar Aang - Korra will also have to contend with an anti-bender revolution taking place in the city.

Probably the rest of the gang would be too. Even if it was 100 yrs after Aang defeated Ozai, the gang could still be alive. People can live to be 150 in the Avatar world. Avatar Kyoshi live to be 230. Aang/Katara's son will be in it and teach Korra airbending. It will come out sometime in 2011. I can't wait that long.

AAng son teaches her airbending. The last and only element she need to kno. they did say that some episodes will catch us up on some of our past characters.

Fans don't really seem to understand the meaning on what Book 4 can really be about.. Book 4 would not only give us those unanswered questions like the whereabouts of Zuko's mother or Azula's imprisonment. I see it as offering a glimpse of the Avatar world after the war. A new beginning in making peace and rebuilding the nations. A closer look into other character's past like Iroh and Ozai. I'm just saying...We as fans need to be more precised in what we want then maybe we'll get a new season

Avatar was great journey, which ended when the war among the nations ended. Conflicts between and within characters have already been resolved. There is nothing else significant that should be added IMO.

I think it's a good idea to make avatar book 4. I am a big fan of Avatar and I want to know how the rest of their adventure goes. And, it really would be a good gift to their fans if you made book 4. Thank you! (from a big 10-yr. old fan)

I agree 110% I mean come on Zuko's famous quote at the end "Where is my mother" I'm pretty sure it can't end there without pissing off a bunch of people they can't just leave us hanging cuz if they do what was the point of the quote I think thos bastards are saying no season 4 just to rile us up and guess what it worked. If they don't make one that will be the gayest shit ever.

Well, i think it just has to be the season 4. because a lot of questions still remain. who will teach the next avatar the air bending? and the harmony bases on 4 elements, on 4 nations, and now it's only 3 of them, what kind of harmony is that?? and it's not enough to defeat the fire lord, there has to be a lot of people from fire nation who support him...etc. these questions are torturing me((

well there will only be another avatar when aang dies, so i had an idea, where there were gifted airbenders, and somehow they escaped, or maybe like aang dies go to the spirit world and comes back to life, creating inbalance, and tricking the spirits, and there is another avatar, and this avatar is bad or sumthin, lol, or maybe like the gifted airbenders that i said be4 are like mentally disturbed and they killed all the airtbenders and the firenation soldiers that came to attack, some1 ideas!!

One (minor) problem, the voice actors of Aang and Toph. Both of them were pretty close to the age of their characters. With puberty and voice changing and all of that lovely stuff, it'd be sort of tricky to continue right at the same place, with the two still twelve. Jessie could probably pull it off, but Zach? I don't think so. Maybe if they went ahead a couple years in the future, though...

make the season 4 of when they grew a little older, and zuko after searching alone for his mother can't find her, eventually comes to aang for help but his sister escapes and causes trouble for him..yes i thought this through
