@Darkboy2525 Het filmpje wordt inderdaad veel bekeken; het is een van de eerste filmpjes die ik op You Tube heb gezet; het was voor mij behoorlijk nieuw; ik kan me wel herinneren dat ik het stukje in een keer heb opgenomen en het als "een geheel heb willen neerzetten" met een redelijk "bevredigend nagevoel". Af en toe krijg ik inderdaad een vraag voor de bladmuziek maar een link hoeft voor mij ook weer niet; een aantal personen hebben mijn filmpje gebruikt bij hun Ierse Bruiloft!.

@24delanerd I know that this song sometimes is used at the opening of a wedding ceremony (in the church or otherwise). Of course there are also other moments to use this song (for example : the end of the ceremony).

Cor, Boek 4 ...is dat wel weer een stapje hoger dan boek 3 ? want je hebt ook kinderboeken. en ik dacht dat boek 3 het eind was voor de boeken die ik gebruik maar dat heb ik fout ?

En dit liedje, zal ik hem eindelijk misschien eens kunnen proberen ? of is dit echt nog wel te moeilijk ?

Sorry, thought I'd ask a question as well; do you think the piano can do justice to folk/celtic music? Looking online yours is one of few nicely done piano jigs. I'd love to get involved in group performance but just wonder if there's any room for a piano - literally and musically.. what do you think, do you play with groups?

Thanks for your nice words; I am a pianoteacher and i don't play with groups;

I play a variety of pieces, including folk melodies and dances with my students.

Is it possible folk/celtic music on the piano? I think (almost) everything is possible on the piano; the question is: Can I transpose the music in my mind / body to the piano? (which technique I have to use / many times experimenting!); In the Irish Wedding Dance I try to suggest Irish Folk Music.
