You make some very good points, I would like to add one though if I may, Romans 8:17, If Jesus is not a separate person from God then how could we possibly be joint heirs with him to the throne of God?
@Bibletouchstone I do understand the separate parts, if you want, you can check out my channel and see the video I made to try and explain it in such a way that (hopefully) people might better understand it.
Acts 7:55, Stephen looked up into heaven while being stoned to death and "saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. Mt 24:36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."
I think you meant Mark 13:32, Pitbull. By the way, I was directing that question to Only the Scriptures; I figured you would believe the orthodox possition. God bless.
What did He see?..the GLORY OF GOD...He did not see 2 "persons"..1..God is a Spirit, how can He see a Spirit? [Jn 1:18} 2.Why would he acknowledge one and ignore the other? 3.Did He see Jesus standing on a giant right hand?
Pitbull..Did I write the Bible? Do you believe what it says?
14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the[ Father in me?] the words that I speak unto you [I speak not of myself]: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Wow..do you see it?..the words I speak are not mine Jesus said..[whose are they then?] The Father that DWELLS IN ME...he does the works[speaking]..Jesus was the mouthpiece for the invisible God..{heb 12:11-2] do you believe what is in your bible?
So you do not believe Jesus Christ is come in the flesh but that Jesus is the flesh and the Father came in the flesh and did not send the Son nor give the Son works to finish?
Vince..the feeling is mutual..I was pointing out how God has many tittles that is subscribed to him but that in no wise means God is divided into "persons" Jesus said God is a Spirit..Paul said in Eph 4:6..there is One Spirit.Scripture does teach that the One Spirit {God}came in the flesh and made himself known to man in the flesh of the only "begotten" flesh of God..Jesus Christ. That flesh was a vehicle for that One Spirit to work through. John 14:10,12:45..only way to God..is Jesus [flesh]
Jesus said in John 17..He manifested the Fathers name..What name did the disciples know? Jesus said John 5:43- He came in the Fathers name..What name was that?,Hebrews 1:4 tells us..Jesus inherited his name..who did this name belong to before He received it? Hard to ignore scripture.
Jesus gave the best description of God..yet millions do not believe His own words..Notice with me in John 4:24-..God is..........a......Spirit..it does not say persons, person or Trinity.
Deuteronomy 4:24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
God is also a coming fire! It doesn't say persons, person, or Trinity! You are were right all along! Jesus was not come in the flesh but a flaming spirit! You cannot argue with what the Bible says!
Steve, I hope you are not offended by the sarcasm, know I respect you. This is to show you what isolating verses and confusion of categories may lead to if left unrestricted. God bless you.
Yes thousands of tittles, but One Spirit who is every where all the time..He revealed himself to mankind through the flesh of the only man ever to be "begotten" by the Spirit of God.Jesus was not a 2nd member, but rather a vessel like no other man.Man sinned and it required mans blood, since all have sinned,Only God could infuse himself into the human race and bring forth a sinless sacrifice of a sinless body. That flesh was the image of the invisible God who is Spirit.John 14:9-10.Spirit made flesh
right...the Father is NOT the Son..but rather the Father was IN the Son...John 14:9-10,John 12:44-45..1 Timothy 3;16..Col 2:9-10..simply put..Spirit was manifested in flesh..

@fundreamer1 Jesus is a separate person from the Father who is also God. The answere to your question is: through the Covenant of Grace.

As God..He knew all things..as man He was limited in his foreknowledge..

The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Father, the Holy Spirit is neither. 3 separate persons, one God
