Thus, the violation was not on private land. You cannot escape a crime by fleeing onto private property, that's black letter law. In addition, many tribes contract with local or State police to enforce laws. And I doubt you know where this is exactly, so leave it at that. Many reservations let police in to investigate.

He should have tried to wait for back up before wrestling with the guy but his hand may have been forced on that. What a good police officer. Stayed cool even under a stressful situation. Was able to wrestle one attacker down then pull his pepper spray. Then was able to wrestle both and draw his firearm. At 3:20-3:22 the guy in the white wifebeater is just standing there, he clearly wasnt moving towards the cop and he got shot anyway. Only after the cop shot at him (and missed) did he attack.... which anybody would've done out of fear for their life.
Dude, that was pepper spray at 3:20. Listen closely and you can even hear the hiss from the spray can over the officer's microphone. You can also see the spray in the air between them. The officer did not use deadly force until later, after the two suspects escalated the situation into an outright physical confrontation.

Three large angry guys. I'd call for help. It did look like private property. I don't know how you can say this is a legit shoot, because it stemmed from an illegal traffic stop. "Indian Reservation", is this a reservation cop? or a regular cop with a warrent?

The officer had absolutely no choice in this situation. There are times when you have over aggressive cops, but in this case the officer was professional and respectful. He did what was necessary because if it was a clearly racist cop he would have unloaded his weapon on both of them, he did it with reasonable force when he could have use maximum force.

Good for the cop. He kept his cool in what very quickly could have escalated into an even worse situation. He should have tried to wait for back up before wrestling with the guy but his hand may have been forced on that. If they were followed on to reservation land then they are completely within their rights to follow the vehicle in until it stops. Those saying they can't/shouldn't are just wrong. He really should have waited for back up before even approaching the vehicle though.

What a good police officer. Stayed cool even under a stressful situation. Was able to wrestle one attacker down then pull his pepper spray. Then was able to wrestle both and draw his firearm. He didn't even unload his clip... Stuck to his training and made it out alive. The officer gives cops a good name! I'm not a big fan of cops either...

Dude, that was pepper spray at 3:20. Listen closely and you can even hear the hiss from the spray can over the officer's microphone. You can also see the spray in the air between them. The officer did not use deadly force until later, after the two suspects escalated the situation into an outright physical confrontation.

How about instead of having your wife lie helpless under a bed you buy a gun and learn how to use it. and this is a small percentage of what cops really do. Majority of what they do is write tickets and enforce ridiculous fines to people who are already broke. Well, obviously you want to get rid of the police, so who else? Already knew you could not care less. Anyway, my wife did have a firearm (and we live in a castle-law state), but that doesn't mean she prefers a shootout at the ok corral with two or more (didn't know exactly how many or where) individuals in the middle of the night. As for your tickets, don't break the traffic laws - or at least have the balls to accept the consequences without whining when you do.

I am a business owner who is FORCED to pay more in taxes, fines and fees then i do my own employees. I pay for these "services" in which i never asked for and never use. Buddy, not trying to be flippant, but perhaps reality needs repeating. You have an opportunity to vote every few years. This is a democracy. If you don't like the laws, advocate, gather supporters, and vote for candidates to change those laws. If you can't find those candidates, run yourself. That's how our system works. Of course, for reasons of their own, the majority may not always agree with you. That's also how our system works.

Trust me ive been trying along with millions of others to stop this corrupt system but it would take a civil war to make any real changes. Perhaps you didn't, but others did vote over time to have those laws enacted. Still others voted to have laws overturned. Again, that's how our system works. As for lots to learn, I'm old enough to teach you a few things. The first being most won't support a civil war until there's a likely outcome which isn't worse than what we have. And, if you're talking about getting rid of cops, offering no real alternative for people's safety, then it will be worse. Anarchy sucks big time.

He goes to arrest one of them, he starts a fight his friend ESCALATES the situation by jumping in and the cop has no choice but to escalate as well. Two shot, on winded cop- they go to jail, he goes home to a wife and kids... just like it is supposed to be.

Ok I can't belive anyone is sticking up or the two men/ drunken retards in the pick up truck. How many times does the officer warn them? dozens. Too many times because in the end his warnings became lame. Personally her should have waited for back up before trying to make the arrest but they both attacked him at once. Totally justified for him to defend himself.

i would have shot them. it has nothing to do with education when it comes to defending yourself a speeding ticket is not worth getting shot over. what i see here is someone trying to do there job and two ass holes trying to get out of at the most a $200 ticket. and for the first shot at the guy standing behind the truck if it wasnt a tazer he would have been dead then, i dont go shooting as much as a cop mostly because it is not required for my job and i could have hit that guy no problem

This is mainly due to a vast array of Tribal Police (Native Officers) having violated basic rights, or caused unintentional deaths (negligent) of subjects while in custody.
Lastly, If you have spoken and never walked in these shoes (police officer) your comments are purely opinionated. No one cares what you would do, its what you do do that matters.

I do not believe there is such a thing as a "PIG" that walks on two feet. Maybe you should go back to school. Further more the video does not clearly delineate the Police Officer is on Tribal Land. Most Native Americans believe the continent is theirs to wonder freely. It is not uncommon for Tribal Councels to contract with County,or State Police to Police their land.
