I agree that this guy's presentation & personal observations do not (alone) prove that humans are causing GW - but that doesn't mean hundreds of other scientists & computer programmers from NASA, the WMO, the NAS, etc who have crunched ALL the numbers & ALL the numbers haven't!

Barring an about face by nature or adjustments, it appears that for the first time since 2001, Arctic Sea ice will hit the normal line as defined by the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) for this time of year.

He's still operating on the notion that CO2 drives warming when it follows rising temps.

There are also hot springs in the Antarctica region. Both Greenland and Antarctical have volcanic dynamics that could be contributing to what's happening. AK's MtRedoubt erupted again; the temp there is warmer than in Iowa today; I'm sure the volcanic activity had something to do with that.

You are confusing weather with climate, get some education. This guys presentation isn't that great, just a presentation of observed (anecdotal) events with little explanitory content, however the cause of what he's observed is as he states. I'm not going to bother pointing you at an education, as if you are still in the anthropogenic clime change denial camp it's because you are ignorant by choice.

Can there be "global warming" when there really isn't a "global temperature"?

All temps are local. Only actual temps mean anything. You can average 100degrees in Chicago in the summer and -100below in the Antarctica on the same day and get an average of 0 - which is exactly what the average would mean. An average is not a temperature. Does a furnace run according to the "global average"? If not, then neither does the planet.

It is doubtful we can do thing one about any warming. He's ignoring what they taught us in grade school makes climate:

1. Distance of earth from the sun

2. Tilt of the earth on its axis which affects the angle and intensity of the suns rays - this creates our seasons (Latitude determines what climatic zone one lives in)

3. Orbit of the earth around the sun

4. Rotation of the earth which makes for warming by day and cooling by night - this is what creates our winds and jet streams.
