@darthkahn45 How come it would be a lot more fitting? Claire isn't military trained (although she's experienced in fighting bio-weapons), and has nothing to do in Africa or the BSAA Chris belongs to. Sheva is a BSAA representative on Africa. I think it makes much more sense to have Chris being guided by someone who knows the area, and not just arriving with his sister doing their will in uncharted territory. Its dumb, not a lot more fitting.
Sheva had fuck all to do with the RE story and did not deserve a part in this game she was nothing but a race counterbalance and a poor one at that all they needed to do is work in some story with Terra Save and bam another "chance meeting" considering after all these years of waiting this was the final battle with Wesker having him being killed by somone who doesn't even know him seems a bit of a waste.

@Riond551 You know who else we probably won't ever see again? Wesker, you only get one final showdown and that was it. I am glad it was against Chris but throughout the story of the series those 2 have been a significant part of the it especially when it came to Wesker, they both had a personal score to settle with him, a bigger one than Sheva anyway.Plus they are siblings so you could have added a deeper family element to it.
It should have been the Redfields finishing things once and for all.

Chris is already in the game and is an integral part of the RE plot, nobody else could kill Wesker, they were arch enemies from the get go, he started it and he ended it (as these things usually go). But alongside him was this nobody totally undeserving of a place in the final confrontation, considering many of the older survivors were still alive like Claire and Rebecca. If racism wasn't such a pissy issue with people (like you) it would have been someone more deserving.

@Thekillacam56 Regardless of whether she was planned or not, for a game that had been built up for 9-13 years, the limelight should have been given to someone who was actually relatable for the fans, someone who they knew had been through hardship of the series and had a past with Wesker. I don't see the point in adding Chris for that EXACT reason and then doing the opposite with his partner who just appears out of nowhere. It instantly contradicts everything they are supposedly doing with Sheva

@sapphirevaltiel It would have been so easy, much easier than how they have done it in the past. The BSAA are sent to contain the situation and TerraSave are sent to tend to civilians. Makes perfect sense, no less sense than what they did in Degeneration, Code Veronica or RE4. The first gameplay video where the Majini were first introduced didn't have Sheva in it and nobody heard anything about the addition of a new character until she was already being revealed. Post racism drama...

What would they be doing there if military units were being sent? If they did go, what are the odds that they send Claire? Also, Claire already faced the Raccoon outbreak, Rockfort Island, and the Wil Pharma thing, give the girl a freakin break. Many of these "if's" are what really keeps me from thinkin it would be "fitting". I'm just saying :)

She was also in Darkside Chronicles (even though it is the stories of RE2, and CV) Leon has been in 3, counting Operation: Javier (Darkside) and will be in Operation: Racoon City. Chris has been in too many LOL. RE1, RE: CV, RE5, RE: UC, he will be in Mercenaries, and the new game, Revelations. This is pretty much an update to your comment from 1 year ago :)
@robe111 Jill has been in RE1, RE3, RE: UC, RE5, and will also be in Mercenaries, and Revelations. Ada has been in 4 games. RE2, RE4, Umbrella Chronicles (UC), and Darkside, again it doesn't have to be counted since its the RE2 story. But they give her a little side story at the end of UC.

If this guy could put this together, why can't capcom get off their lazy asses and make some new characters for RE 5 mercenaries, instead they give us chris and sheva playing dress-up for 200 microsoft points. This world lacks common sense...
Claire was supposed to be in RE 5 in the Alpha stages of the game, but people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson forced capcom to make up Sheva to replace her so the game wouldn't be branded racist.
@giantsfan940 no one forced them to do it. They put Sheva in and people still called the game racist, which is funny because by doing that they actually made the game sexist instead.
It was uploaded but due to FileFronts closure then reopening, they removed all my files. For the last year I haven't had access from my pc to the internet, and now that I have internet, I can't seem to find my files.

It was uploaded but due to FileFronts closure then reopening, they removed all my files. For the last year I haven't had access from my pc to the internet, and now that I have internet, I can't seem to find my files.

I made the model and overwrote Leon with the Claire I made. Thats why its a mod(modification).
